This is my second purchase of Himalaya Psyllium. I bought one jar to try and to compare to Costco's similar product. And when we finished it, I've bought two jars because me and my husband take it two/three times a day. Natural, no additives, clean, no taste, works softly and perfectly. Stool is soft in the morning. I take this product to see if it can dicrease my bad cholesterol and sugar. I especially don't take anything else to lower my cholesterin to have clean experimental results. I will try to return in three months and update my review with lab results. I actually bought this as a last resort for my cat. I had adopted a 4 year old cat from a shelter. She was a bit on the obese side. Turns out she was terribly constipated. After trying many products to help with the constipation and, disappointingly, no results, this product worked like a miracle the next day after mixing it in with her food! My cat now has normal, healthy bowel movements and she has shed quite a few unhealthy pounds. I mix a teaspoon in her wet food in the morning and evening. It has no taste, so my cat eats it right up. That said, I have personally been using a popular orange flavored fiber supplement for years, and although I'm quite happy with it, I think when it runs out I am going to give this Himalaya Organic brand a try. I chose Himalaya brand because it it was drastically lower in price than the leading national competitor. I expected it to be a smaller size or inferior product - but to my surprise and delight it was neither! In fact, Himalaya is BETTER than the national brand, plus it's organic, milled to perfection and a larger size than most. I have found my new brand and highly recommend it to everyone. Read more

Not to be too gross or give too much information but this stuff helped me so so much. I incorporated this into a protein shake with some super greens and I’m regular (I haven’t been in years) I had self diagnosed as having ibs-d and assumed I would just have to live with it but simply adding this to my diet has helped tremendously!! I will definitely get the powder form next rather than the whole Husk though because it’s really just too thick in my shakes. Would rather a smoother consistency. But that’s my only gripe. Read more

I’ve used husks prior and had forgotten about the benefits. The gradual and soft way it effects bowel movements is unmatched. I was a long-time user of Metamucil but they dropped their original version and now only have Orange flavored versions with additives like Maltodextrin. In switching to Himalaya, it's about as natural as you can get; no sugar (or substitute), no gluten, no additives, and no flavoring. For my taste, I might add a touch of stevia or a teaspoon of real maple syrup. As it's a whole husk vice powder, I tend to consume it in an eating motion over straight drinking it down.
