I have got this cologne before from the store before it smells the same but the longevity for the I got from amazon is really bad , I get about 2 hours then it’s gone I use 6 sprays , I use other colognes and it stays for at least 24 hours and it’s half the price. Not gonna but it again. Read more

Purchased Feb '21 with a coupon making the price quite attractive. I intended to hold the unopened package while I worked through some other colognes. Plans changed after I entered the date code (20872) on before storing the bottle. It proved to be manufactured in 2012. I tried to process a refund, which it seems it not allowed for this type of product. Given a choice between opening it and reselling in the open market, I rolled the dice and popped the cellophane.The fragrance is very clearly genuine and is still fine. All the orange peel, vetiver and Iso E Super cedar notes sit properly in their places. The fragrance is sophisticated, masculine, seeming fairly mature and the woodier notes last on the skin for the whole day. If you know what you're buying when you order, Terre d'Hermes is fantastic. If you haven't smelled it before, it might be worth trying to sample before purchasing.So in the end everything turned out OK, but potential buyers should be aware that (at least in this case), Amazon has shipped unusually old product without any disclaimer in the product information. First, I really like this scent. I’ve tried both the EDT and EDP and enjoy both. However, neither last very long at all. Bought both directly from Amazon (Amazon was the seller) and I was very disappointed. I tried this scent before I bought it via a sample from Microperfumes.com and loved it and it did last quite awhile. Unfortunately these did not. May try spending a bit more and buy from Nordstrom to see if it performs any better. Love the fragrance, do not the longevity I get from these Amazon purchases fragrances. Read more

Doesn’t appear to be a knock-off, but maybe this is a lower tier in terms of quality, which would make sense considering the price. Still, the scent is identical to the original cologne I purchased a couple years ago, but the scent is not as strong and doesn’t last as long. Not sure when this one was first produced, amazon listing said it was first listed in 2004, so not sure if that is when the actual product began to be offered on Amazon or if this bottle is actual from 2004. Düfte nimmt jeder Mensch anders wahr und riechen oftmals auch unterschiedlich an den Menschen. Von daher ist es vielfach nur subjektiv zu beschreiben. Terre von hermeš ist für mich immer wieder 'der Hammer'. Irgendwie nicht zu beschreiben. Sehr maskulin, frisch, holzig, erdig, warm und recht lang wahrnehmbar. Wahnsinnsduft, einfach einzigartig. Empfehlen würde ich das jedoch eher der 'älteren' Generation so ab 40+. Read more
