The color matching is a great bonus! The medium brown matches my hair really well. The small rubber elastics I used to use to pull back sections of hair always tangled and ripped out my hair, but the normal thing hair elastics you usually see in stores were too bulky. My friend suggested something like this, and I was really happy to find these on Amazon.They work perfectly and don't rip out my hair. I've broken a few by pulling too hard or trying to use them to do a low pony with all of my hair (which is too thick for these), but that's to be expected. I really like size of these bands and color choices. As Sr Citizen with thinning longer hair I have used all kinds of hair bands that always end up pulling out or causing me to loose more hair. It's a never ending battle to find product to allow me to put my hair in single or multiple pony tails. These really work nicely. I can wrap only 2 or 3 times instead of 5-6 times this hopefully keeping breakage to a minimum. I like color choices, too. The price is reasonable so, I recommend these for old and young alike. I ordered these for my daughter's 1st ballet recital. She has light red hair - almost strawberry blonde with more strawberry. The ginger color blended in perfectly. She also has very thin hair, so I was worried that the small might not be small enough. However, they worked great. I bought these for my husband; since COVID and haircut difficulty I have been cutting his hair in front and sides but talked him into growing it out in back-so the ponytail! The bigger schrunchys were too big for his (thinner) hair and demanded too many turnings and came out too easy. These work well- just three turns and his hair is secured in the back for all day.
