I didn't look at the reviews when I purchased this. I definitely should have.As soon as I took it out of the box, there was this sticky residue covering the ball. I tried washing the ball with soap and water and drying it with a paper towel but that didn't work. I then tried soaking it. I tried Lysol wips. So, I looked at the paper in the box. It said the ball was coated with some substance that helps the ball inflate and you have to use soap and water to wash it off. It also says you can use rubbing alcohol. I didn't want to give up on this ball because my daughter loves Frozen so I told myself I try one more time and if it's still there; I'll just have to return it because that slimy on the ball just feels gross on my hands. I didn't have rubbing alcohol at the time so I used alcohol wipes I had left over from my surgery. It took about 95% of it off.If my daughter didn't love Frozen so much I definitely wouldn't have tried so hard cleaning a ball all day... She loves playing with it but I definitely wouldn't purchase again or at all if I read the reviews in the first place. But that's my fault. Good luck Read more

My grandson's large, red playing ball was blown away during the derecho here in Iowa. I bought this one to replace it since we couldn't find a replacement elsewhere, so I really wanted to love this ball with Toy Story characters. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews because I was enamored with the pictures, and despite the high price, I ordered it. My husband took it out to inflate it and remarked on the sticky covering. We inflated it and tried washing it with soap, wiping it down with a disinfecting wipe, NOTHING removed it. Extremely sticky residue covers the ball and does not rinse with soap/water. Not sure if it's toxic, even if I do manage to clean it off. Material also seems to be extremely thin/cheap. Read more

Not completely disappointed. After many washes It was ok for my daughter to play with but I wouldn’t recommend this product, it comes very slimy and smells horrible. I was able to get the sliminess and smell after using scented antibacterial soap. So it was more work than it should’ve been and on top of it my daughter couldn’t play with it right away because after washing I had to let the ball air dry as using towels just made things worse... 2/10 don’t recommend. Ball was just dripping with mould release or ??? So slimy you couldn't even hold it to inflate. Had to wash and wash in bathtub for 10 minutes and dry with towel. Was still disgusting. Will never buy from this company again if this is as good as their quality control is. Read more
