This is the kind of heating pad I've been wishing for my whole life.I hate the vinyl heating element in the fake felt case. I hate how those always come apart. I hate how it only times out on its own and won't let me set the timing.This heating pad is SOOOOO awesome. The pad is all one soft piece of fabric. There's no inside and outside, it's all one piece.Unlike our former heating pad, this one is long and thin instead of mostly square. This allows more heating area down my beloved's back and less off to the sides where he doesn't need heat.The pad heats in just a minute or two, has adjustable temperatures and you can set the timer to turn off when you want it to turn off.The entire pad is washable, but do follow care instructions.We really love this new heating pad. This heating pad is so soft and comfortable to use. I must've had this other one with the plastic inside that was all crinkly and would get squished up, for so long that I thought that's what heating pads were like until I tried this one.The pad heats up quickly it has plenty of settings, and it's very soft and comfortable against my body. I also like that it's not taking up a huge amount of room. So basically when I'm not using it I can roll it up and stick it in a basket next to my bed so that it's always handy. I don't feel like I have to go stick it in a closet somewhere.The size of 12" x 24" is just about perfect for anyone. This is an excellent Heating Pad. We love the size of this pad. It is 12" x 24". The soft microplush fiber is very comfortable against the skin. The controller is easy to use. There are 6 heat settings and 4 timers. A big feature for me is the auto shut down. I don't have to worry that the heating pad was left on all night. The heating pad arrives rolled up inside a 3.5" x 3.5" box. This large size heating pad can be stored in a small space. We will tossing our old small heating pad and replacing it with this new large heating pad. Read more

Love these heating pads! Slowly, replacing all the old plastic versions with there soft fulffy ones. Everyone will have their own pad, so no more trying to find who used it last and what did they do with it. Small enough to also pack into a suitcase. Would recommend it. Read more

The 3 stars isn't because this isn't a good heating pad, but because it's...average, and lacking in a couple areas. It heats up well, but the fabric, while soft, isn't very thick so I end up feeling hot-spots in it. I prefer a bit better heat distribution in heating pads.The size of this is nice, depending on what you're after - for your lap, legs, or back...the length is quite nice.One word of warning if you plan to give this as a gift: this heating pad is Made in China and comes in a generic, unbranded box that doesn't even have a UPC. It doesn't appear to was created with the US market in mind - so make sure that if something goes wrong that you're comfortable with the length of returns the seller offers, as in my experience, the manufacturer isn't going to back up warranty claims. (The manufacturer, as stated on the box, is "Shenzhen Goldsland Intelligent Technology Co.
