These heel plates were rated as small, but I had to cut down all of them to fit on my shoes. In cutting the plate to fit the heel, two of the three indentations for nailing the shoe tacks are basically gone. So only the center indentations for tacks are usable. Not good - the last thing I want is having the plate swivel around and stick out from under my heel. Adhesion is not an issue because there isn't any adhesion on the plate. I plan to use Shoe Goo glue on them. As to the comfort of the plate, I cannot answer that yet as I'm still trying to figure out how to put tacks along the side edges of the plate. Read more
