Esta crema al igual que las demás de la línea es horrible y un muy mal producto. Empeora el cabello en vez de mejorarlo y lo peor es la sensación de cabello sucio que deja. Read more

I don't think that it helps you with dandruff but, it provides a good quality hold and smells great. The product is good but make you hair feel abit rough. It washes out easily as well. Read more
It's pretty cool to see Head & Shoulders enter the hair styling product arena. Sure, there's a lot of competition, but for a brand known to prevent irritation to the scalp and eliminate dandruff, I think that men who respect the brand, may want to give these hair styling products a try!For one Head & Shoulders is a trusting brand name when it comes to helping people eliminate or control dandruff. And there are many people who have sensitive scalps, so it makes it even more convenient that the company now makes various hair styling products. For this review, I am reviewing the Head & Shoulders Shaping Pomade (Light Hold/Matte Finish). It’s has Pyrithione Zinc, so less irritation on the scalp.Having used Head & Shoulders Styling Cream (Light Hold/Matte Finish), this one is much more creamier in consistency compared to the pomade, which was expected.Because this is a light hold, this is great for those who have longer hair, not wanting a super strong hold. This is not for those with shorter hair who like to spike their hair, for those who want to do a pompadour, can use this as the first part, but may have to end with hairspray.Otherwise, for those with longer hair and want a more natural look with a little hold, then this styling cream is perfect.I do recommend it for those with a sensitive scalp!Overall, Head & Shoulders Styling Cream (Light Hold/Matte Finish) is recommended! I tried this Head and shoulders styling hair cream with anti-dandruff properties for the first time. The active ingredient is zinc pyrithione, which has anti-dandruff properties. There is a warning on the enclosed product literature (which requires a magnifying glass to read) to the effect that you do not want to ingest or get this product into your system through an opening in the skin. The pyrithione component is organic and comes from Persian shallots. Enough on that topic. In actual use, the product has a not objectionable odor, is easy to apply and I needed an amount about equal to two peas for my short hair. My hair seemed to thicken a little and it did style and hold well. Head and Shoulder products are improving. One word of caution. On first application, hair felt good and was easily manageable. A second application a day later on top of the first application did not go as well. Hair became stiffer. Rubbing in the styling cream met with a bit of resistance. Easy solution: Use after washing hair. Do not apply over an earlier application.Long term use update. I discovered that the styling cream causes hair to thicken and become a little stiff. My comb “drags” and takes more effort to push through the hair. I decided to stop using it in favor of a more liquid Head and Shoulders product that does not stiffen my hair and does make my scalp not to itch. Reduced rating to three stars. Read more
This is a fine but not special hair styling product from Head & Shoulders. The product is a loose, smooth white cream that shifts in the jar like a gel, rather than a hard paste like some pomades, more pudding-like in consistency. It has a mild powdery or soapy fragrance and goes on smoothly, and despite being described as water-based it doesn't really rinse clean easily: I had to wash my hands with soap after applying it. The hold is also a bit more gel-like, plasticky and harder than you might expect; it needs to be combed through the hair a bit after hardening if you want a softer finish, and otherwise you may feel a little bit of a crunchy hairspray-like plastic texture. I noticed no improvement to my scalp itching/flaking/etc. relative to other hair products, despite the product's medicated claims. All in all, I like many other products better but this one is basically fine. Read more
I am a woman and am not sure why hair products need to be marketed separately to different genders. I thought I might like this for my shoulder length hair, which is fine and needs a bit of hold. I also have scalp issues that can be irritated by hair products, which is another reason I thought this might be better for me. This product comes in a little screw-top tub. The first thing I noticed was the strong "masculine" scent; it smells like cheap after-shave. Luckily, the scent seems to fade quickly. The consistency of the product is a cross between a body butter and putty. It is quite sticky and difficult to was off the hands. There are no instructions for use on the container itself, so I tried it several different ways. It didn't weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy, but it definitely left it with a coated feeling. It helped with flyaway hairs a bit but didn't do much for adding body or making styling easier. It also seemed to make my shoulder-length hair more prone to knotting. And while it didn't aggravate my scalp condition, it didn't help it, either. I will keep trying to make this work for me, but at this point, I would not recommend this product. Read more
