With my five year old, we were told to use tar shampoo for her cradle cap. It was awful! Therefore, it was not used as much as we would have wanted a product to use, and her cradle cap didn’t resolve itself very well without a lot of manual labor getting it combed out.With our new baby, they gave us a sample of this Happy Cappy brand. After trying it the first time, we noticed a very nice difference! We bought this full size product package promptly and use it weekly. Our baby was cute anyhow, but with his cradle cap kept at-bay, he certainly looks much nicer. We are so thankful for this product!! It doesn’t smell gross and it works. No complaints from this momma.I read a few reviews saying how their baby’s hair fell out, and they blamed Happy Cappy. Cradle cap will do that to the newborn hair. It isn’t the product. With our daughter five years ago, we didn’t use anything due to lack of good options, and when we would groom her head, the hair would come off with the cradle cap. Sad, but it happens. I don’t think the newborn hair is very deep-rooted. Anyway, our baby’s hair is growing in with more permanent stuff at 2 and 3 months old. He does still have a few parts with the longer newborn hair where the cradle cap hasn’t affected as much. Read more
We left our medicated bottle on vacation by mistake and I didn't get around to buying another one. For some reason I decided to order a bunch of Mustela products and they seem to have made my son's rash worse. I'm sticking to what I know. The medicated soap WORKS, the daily soap also works lovely but if you need to get rid of a rash the medicated is the way to go. Love the lotion, my son's skin was always soft but is super soft after we started using it.
