My son asked for this brand because they are what were in his classroom. He likes to build spinners, which require this particular type of cube, with the little pegs that stick out as fasteners. The problem is that while you can spin a cube on that peg, the cubes you attach to it tend to fall off. These just don't hold together well for building. As a counting tool, they are fine, but if you want them as blocks, especially blocks that stay attached, get a different brand. I'm not sure which yet, I'm about to start experimenting with others. Colors are NOT as pictured. We did not receive pink cubes. My daughter is very disappointed. We will need to return for another brand as these were misleading and do not fit our needs. While these are great for counting they are ready stiff and very hard from my 3 year old and 5 year old grandson to connect to each other and pull apart. Read more
These items are perfect! They are identical to the ones the school system uses. The cubes snap together easily and stay together but don’t fit so tight that it’s difficult for little hands to remove. Read more
I ordered these for my kindergarten class to be able to make ten-sticks. Last year I used regular small legos and that was kind of a pain. These are perfect and not terribly expensive. The students also enjoy building other things with them if they have time. Read more
