This is great to teach your kids numbers & to tell time on traditional clocks with hands. Definitely more affective than digital clocks. Having 2 rings to tell time for morning & night is great for 2 kids, because they can both play & learn together. The differnt colors helps them understand morning & night are diffrent. Definitely great for basic learning & homeschooling. Read more
This was one of the best visual aids for teaching time! It has several interchangeable parts that are magnetic so that you can display the numbers involved in hours and minutes in an easy to see format. They can be viewed not only in clock form but in a number line format as well. This helps students visualize the elapsed time concept. It is the only product you will need to explain to your students the concept of time! It is magnetic so you can display on a board or there is a built in easel if you want to display on a table. Very versatile. Read more

UPDATE 04/06/2021:All my kids from my preschool to my 3rd grader are now using this clock. My third grader is using it as a number line to calculate how much time has elapsed whereas my preschooler is learning time. The one thing that they don't advertise but we use ALL the time is a dry erase marker on this thing. It helps for marking off while calculating time or just to color in with different colors so my preschooler knows that the when it points to the space between the numbers, it refers to the smaller number. Overall this is such a great learning tool!---------------------------Original Review Below----------------------------TLDR Review:Pros:+ Numbers come off to make a number line to help kids visualize+ Gears help turn the hour hand when the minute hand makes a full rotation+ Reversible bands connect to form a full 24-hour AM/PM number line to help with calculating time+ Dry erase markers write/erase well to help with teaching conceptsCons:- Reversed AM/PM bands don't work well on the clock because of the way the number line is drawn- Would have been nice if they had included a band labeled down to the minute with 5 minute intervals (see my DIY version in photos/description in detailed review)Overall this clock is an amazing addition to our homeschool supplies. It certainly has made it easier for my kids to visualize and calculate time.Detailed Review Below:We have been struggling with calculating how much time when going from AM to PM and this clock is exactly what we needed. You can pull off the clock and make a number line to help kids visualize the hours. How genius is this? It comes with two reversible bands that allow you to connect the AM and PM. That way the kids can see a full twenty-four hours in a single number line and this helps visualize that calculating how much time is just as easy as simple addition/subtraction.With my younger kids I use this clock to help them visualize a whole hour. When you move the blue minute hand a single rotation, the red hand moves exactly an hour to help kids visualize how many minutes an hour would take. Here is my list of would be nice if they included features. 1. It would have been nice if they made it so that the AM/PM sides could actually sit on the clock. The way they painted the lines on those sides, you can't place them on the clock in that orientation (see picture). 2. While I think it is nice that they included a band that has 3/6/9/12 to help kids with estimation, I wish instead that they included the minutes counting up by 5 to assist kids with figuring out and counting to the minutes. If you looked at the photos, we took the 3/6/9/12 band and used a dry erase marker to DIY a counting by 5's version for home. It works okay but when we are working with counting down the the minute, it would have been helpful had they included a band with one minute intervals labeled every 5 mins.Overall even with the it would be nice to have features, this clock is an amazing addition to our homeschool supplies. It certainly has made it easier for my kids to visualize and calculate time. Read more
My granddaughter absolutely loves it. I was shocked to see how much she already knew about how to tell time. Love that it has several different types of clocks on it. The outer ring with the numbers comes off it has a slightly different version on the. Back side. She freaked a little when it first came off in her hand. She thought she broke it. When I explained it was supposed to do that so she could use the other side to learn time on different types of clocks. She decided the outer ring was even more fun toy then the clock itself. It was a snake or a heart or a circle ect. She had a blast playing with they ring and then showing me the other side and trying to figure out how she was supposed to tell time with only certain numbers on there. How to see if she could do it by herself if she could figure it out without help. Typically independent 3 year old. It's amazing to watch them at this age learning new things. This clock is perfect for little ones to learn on. Having several different types of clocks and different numbers on each one. So they can learn on different ways to read time so they can learn. I can't wait til she gets back here in a few days when she'll be staying for the week. So she can really have time to mess around with it and we can go through how to tell time on the other clocks. My youngest son is 4. He was so into the little laminated "clock" his big brother brought home from second grade last year that as soon as I saw this, I knew my little guy would love it.You guys. He's obsessed with this clock. He carries it everywhere. He's all in on learning how it works and how to tell time. Within a day, he had developed an understanding of how the hands moved and what position marked each hour. Then he learned to match up each hour with the time of day. Then he started trying to match the hour on his clock with the hour on clocks in our house. Seriously, he's so into it!Given his age, especially, I'm really impressed. I really do think this clock has a lot to do with his interest level. It's pretty interactive for such a simple teaching tool. The gears are a nice touch, too.I think my son a little young yet to grasp the more complicated aspects of telling time, but what's so great about this is that it's durable so it'll still be around when he's older and better able to understand the harder parts.I really have nothing but great things to say about this clock. It's pretty great. Highly recommend. Read more
