I'm a NICU nurse and we used these Halo wraps at a hospital I used to work at. They even gave one to the parents at discharge. This way baby has a safe blanket that won't accidentally cover their little face while sleeping. They help the baby to feel snug and resettle to sleep after diaper changes and feeds and keeps them warm. Best of all the baby's lower body remains loose which is good for their development without causing any problems with their hips. The fleece ones like this one are nice and warm baby can be in a diaper or a onsie or tshirt and be comfortable. If you want to fully dress your infant in long sleeve footie outfits then you could leave the arms out or use the non fleece type they sell so baby doesn't get too hot. The zipper also runs from the too closing downward to the bottom so you could potentially change the diaper without totally removing the wrap if needed but if not it is so easy to undo and do up again. When you open the velcro flaps there is velcro on the shoulder straps as well very convenient. Read more

What would I do without this?!FIRST: once we had a rough night and I put baby (swaddled in this product) to sleep in her rock and play, and as it auto rocked, she started sinking down into the Velcro part (mouth was covered 😳). I never put her in it again unless she was on a flat surface! When used on a flat surface it is an AMAZING product! This is so easy to swaddle your baby in! (Even sleep deprived at two in the morning!)Our baby has been using these since we brought her home from the hospital. You don’t have to worry about getting the swaddle right, getting it tight enough, or it coming loose in the night. It zips from the top down so you can do diaper changes without taking them out, but honestly I never did figure out how to do that... it is pretty bulky with the Velcro to pull up to get to the diaper. My baby had no issues coming in and out for night feedings and changes. My only two issues:My baby runs hot so I can only put her in cotton onesies for bed time under this. Otherwise she gets way too hot (wish they made these in something besides fleece). Read more

I recently described this swaddle as MAGIC to other new moms. We have both the cream and blue color now for our little guy. It helps him sleep longer and harder every single time. We've used Swaddle Me and the summer version of Halo swaddle, but the micro fleece is special. This material I think acts as a blanket and keeps him warm and tight at the same time. The first time we used it, our baby slept in the bassinet for the first time. He will do a long 3-4 hour afternoon nap in it vs. 1-2 hours in others.Buy this right now - even in the summer - you won't regret it! Read more

Our daughter is 5 months old. Not quite rolling over yet, but she’s very strong. She is capable of sleeping through the night, no problem, as long as her swaddle stays put. Got this halo swaddle for babysitters to use (much more user friendly than traditional swaddles that we also use). It is definitely good for napping during the day, but... She busts out of this halo swaddle several times in the middle of the night no matter how well it is swaddled. She also busts out of our traditional swaddles, but only once a night. Note: we did. It try the other fabrics of the halo - only the fleece one. The other fabrics may be less slippery, so they might work better. If you have a baby Houdini like us, keep looking for a different solution. We are about to spend way to much money on that other popular (and a bit too expensive) swaddle with Velcro (rhymes with golly) to hopefully keep baby Houdini sleeping all night long again.Very easy to clean and durable. I so wish this worked! Read more

This was recommended to me by a few moms. I was originally really excited, it seemed really easy and comfortable. We bottle feed at night so I liked the idea that we didn’t have to completely take her out of a swaddle to change and feed her. Bought the newborn size, my baby is 9.5lbs. Woke up multiple times during the night to find the material bunched over her mouth and nose. She sleeps in a rock n play so is at a slight incline. Tried to adjust the Velcro mutiple different ways, this kept occurring. Without taking her out of the swaddle, I found it really annoying to burp her. There is so much extra material flapping around, trying to get through it to her back wasn’t worth the fuss. Wouldn’t recommend this. Read more

Would not recommend and will be returning! No matter what I did, it rides up over baby's face when swaddled. He only wore it while laying on his back in the crib and bassinet. It's super warm so if I keep his his arms out they get cold while the rest of him is very toasty so that's not a viable option. After the first time I put it on, the zippers will NOT unzip all the way so I had to pull it off over his head. The hole isn't actually big enough to go over his head so he screamed bloody murder during the process, and I was worried I might hurt him. Other fleece sleep sacks I've gotten aren't nearly as thick which is a good thing for us to prevent over heating since we don't keep the house an iceberg! Read more

Really good product. We had the newborn size and she slept in it every night till she got too tall at 3 months so we bought this one next. It really helps the baby sleep longer and feel cosy and safe. Much better than a wrapping swaddle and they can't get out of it easily unless they really struggle through the night. Only downside is that the Velcro that holds it closed can be loud to undo which is annoying if you're trying to keep a baby calm! Other than that this is a fabulous find. Read more

The fabric is quite thick fleece, polyester and synthetic feeling, not cotton and breathable like I like babies bedding to be. Velcro is also quite heavyweight too. Product feels quite cheap overall. Read more

These sleepsack swaddles were absolute life-savers in the early days of putting our daughter to bed. Can't recommend more highly!! She was snug as a bug in a rug. Washed great too. Read more

Please don’t buy. Woke up to 11 week old having slid his hands from sides up to chest and managed to move the swaddle flaps up over his nose. Thankfully I woke up! It worked a dream prior to this but not worth the risk! Read more
