This sleepsack plus footed pajamas have been my baby's perfect fall-winter-spring sleep outfit. (We live in California, so our winters aren't too chilly.) I recommend buying at least a 2nd sleepsack, just in case baby throws up all over it! We also have the cotton version of this for warmer nights.Make sure it's not too big! You don't want your baby to be able to get his/her arms stuck in this.Make sure it's long enough for a tall baby! That means possibly needing to size up if your baby's weight is on the high end of the stated sizing range. My baby boy is thin and tall, so we're moving him to a Large even though he's not yet 20 lbs. Read more

We got a lot of use out of this sleep sack. Its a very safe alternative to blankets and used this right up until my little guy was getting a bit too tall for them, around 1 year of age when we finally felt comfortable with him with his "blankie".We have several Halo sleep products. They're high quality, safe, the zipper is still operational after a lot of washes and my baby slept well in them. I bought this one in white in anticipation of using it for a second child, this is a nice gender neutral color. The fleece is a nice weight, not too thermal so my baby roasts, but warm enough to keep him comfortable at night with his fleece footed PJs in a house kept around 65F.I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and effective blanket alternative. I'd send my boy to college with one of these if I could :) Read more

This SleepSack works perfect for our little 1 year old. He hates having his arms confined. As such we struggled to find a sleep sack that would keep him warm and not confine his arms.We finally stumbled upon a thinner fabric one made by HALO during the summer months. We loved it. So naturally when we started looking for a couple of warmer options we started looking for ones made by HALO. We bought this micro-fleece one and another plush one. We have been really happy with both! Read more

This was a must have item in our house and we highly recommend it for those with children under 3 years old.Our daughter wore her HALO SleepSacks through age 2 and a half. She couldn't sleep without it. The blanket kept her warm of course because it couldn't be kicked off. She liked the 'weight' of it on her (it is not heavy, but just having the layer on top of her helped her). When she began to stand and walk the sack did not stop her. She easily maneuvered around in her crib without hesitation or issue. She even wore the sack in the Pennsylvania summer months when the air conditioning was on...just wore her diaper and a t-shirt underneath. This also helped with diaper changes. It unzips from the bottom (as well as the top) so that you can keep your youngen' warm in the middle of the night by just unzipping the bottom to change a diaper--keeping the top vest on and baby comfy!I wish I had this option for my other two when they were younger! I bought this sleep sack for cold winter nights. My son sleeps very warm so this was too warm for him to use most nights, however if our power went out and we had no heat I figured we should probably have something on hand to keep him warm. It's like a fleece sleeping blanket, it's so warm because the fleece is completely around the baby's body so it holds in the warmth. The fleece is thick and soft, very luxurious actually. There is plenty of room for baby's feet to move around while still feeling secure in a big cold crib. The zipper zips from top to bottom so diaper changes are easy and no teeth can get caught in the middle of the night in the zipper pull.I would highly recommend this for families with cold rooms for their babies to sleep in. This is by far the best brand sleep sack I have seen and tried and I would recommend this to all moms. Read more

Great way to stay warm while still allowing a wide range of motion in the hips. I would not use these once your kiddo can roll from back to belly as it could hinder use of their legs to roll back over which poses risk of suffocation. I ordered a size up and I have been happy with it. It is sif5t and washes well, we have washed this countless times and it looks brand new. Read more

My daughter is 5 month old and I ordered 12-18 large size for her she is 13 lbs and size fits well on her at this time length is good but arms hole and neck hole is very short. That's why I ordered a way bigger size for her and in a month or so I will have to buy another bigger one for her again. Read more

My daughter wore Halo sleep sacks from the time she grew out of swaddling at around 5 months until she was almost 2! She has always tossed and turned a lot in her sleep, and these wearable blankets were by far the most comfortable and best quality sacks you can get for the price. I swear to all my friends and family that my daughter slept so well through the night from such an early age because of these! These wash well and don't pill up if you care for them properly. I turned them inside out when washing and drying. As long as you don't stick, say, a dark colored fuzzy bath rug in the wash with the sack, you shouldn't have any issues with colored bits sticking to the fleece! Even after months of normal use and washes, the only thing that showed any significant wear was the zipper. It can ripple a little if you dry them on high heat one too many times, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the zipper at all. And my little one was never bothered by it either. The fleece is thick and durable. Perfectly warm for cold winter nights when paired with footed pajamas. Even great for milder, but still chilly, spring nights. Dress your little one appropriately under the sack and you'll be golden!I can't say enough good things about this brand! Just buy them - you won't regret it! Read more
