Super soft and comfy, great for a toddler who has outgrown other sleep sacks but moves too much for a blanket to work in the crib. There are two design flaws, though:1. The flap over the zipper at the top (is, under the abby’s chin) is very thin and the sharp zipper end poked through it within two uses. I had to stitch it back together.2. When the zipper is closed and at the bottom of the sack, there is no flap over the zipper pull. I feel like it’s only a matter of time till my 18-month old figured out how to pull the exposed zipper open and take the sleep sack off. Would be better if the closed zipper pull were covered by a little flap, which is the case on other sleep sacks. But those brands don’t have sizes that fit toddlers. Read more

I probably should have purchased the early walker bag for my 20 month old, but picked this one instead. It serves it's purpose well, but it is obnoxious to put on and turns into a three step process for us. I loved the one we had after she was just born, but now that she walks and wiggles more it's a bit of a different story. The bag seems to get tangled and caught up in her legs. She has stretched out the neck to the point of the shoulders will slip down and now in the mornings she's figured out how to wiggle out of it completely without touching the zipper. I like the weight and color of it other wise, it's like a light cotton blanket. Read more

We have been pleased with this sleep sack after my daughter wore holes in her previous one (different brand). I could tell this sleep sack was high quality right when I pulled it out. The material is thick but also lightweight and feels very durable. My only complaint is that it runs extremely large. We ordered the XL for 18-24 months (my daughter was 21 months at the time) and it looks like it could fit a 3- or 4-year-old. The shoulders are quite wide and the length is much too long, but it’s not so huge that it falls off of her, so we decided to keep it, and she seems to like it just fine. Read more

My 15 month old has been using Halo sleepsacks since birth. She has grown really attached to them. She pulls up the fabric into her mouth and sucks/chews on it (I suppose not the best thing for reinhaling your exhausted breath, but I can't stop her when she is in her crib by herself). She also used to squirm in it to comfort herself to sleep, akin to a cricket rubbing it's legs to make noise. They symbolize bedtime to her as much or more than anything in her routine. I bought this all cotton one for the summer. We run the central air conditioner, so we weren't worried about her being too hot, which is why we choose light cotton. Also, I knew she would have a hard time going to sleep without wearing a sleepsack. This sleepsack satisfies my daughter and does it's job well. Only issue - mildew smell. Gross, I know. There isn't a mildew stain, just smell. Since she sucks on the fabric, it is wet. Cotton is not very resistant to mildew. Every morning I hang it outside in the direct sun so the UV rays can kill the mildew. I alterante sleepsacks, so one is not used two days in a row. Than, after two uses, and two UV ray killings, I soak it in borax (another supposed mildew killer), then wash in my machine on the highest cycle with santizing (really really hot water) settings, vinegar, steam and an extra rinse (to make sure that borax is not still in the fabric since she will be putting it in her mouth again). Then it's outside to dry in the sun (more UV rays).I don't think this is a defect in the product, I think it's just that cotton is susceptible to mildew. I with there was another way, though. It's a baby product and babies put things in their mouths. But so far, I have not found another solution. Read more

My daughter is 19 months and I ordered the XL so she has growing room and it’s perfect! I saw the reviews saying how big it is for an XL but it honestly fits very well with of course much room to grow but not enough for the blanket to get over her head and she’s on the average/smaller side for her age. So I’m glad I went with this size! Very cute and looks so comfy. Now I don’t have to worry about putting her blanket back on her through the night and it gets rid of my worries of it getting on her face area at all. Keeps her perfectly warm. Read more

My daughter is 25 mos (in the 80th percentile) and this fits great and should still give room to grow! We had been using a blanket, but wanted something to dissuade her from climbing out of the crib so we could keep using it a while longer. She had no trouble adjusting and can stand up just fine in the crib, but can’t swing her leg up over the side anymore. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great, lightweight, sleep sack! My daughter loves these sleep sacks. I didn't realize until after I received it that this one doesn't zipper both ways like most do, but we still use it all the time. Read more

My daughter keeps growing out of her sleep sacks, but I normally just buy whatever sleep sack Carter’s has so I decided to try the Halo one since I read so many good reviews and I don’t see much difference in sleep but the material is definitely better quality. It’s thicker than the other ones I’ve used so she’s probably kept more snug which I love. Overall it’s a good buy. I bought the next size up so she wouldn’t outgrow it as quickly. Read more
