I noticed some folks gave this product a low rating because they didn't like the taste or didn't like the lumps. Well, neither do I, but who cares! I love this stuff cause it makes me feel wonderful! More energy, endurance, skin, fingernails & hair, huge improvement with only 1 tsp/day. My fingernails have always been a problem but the BG makes them strong and beautiful. I used nail polish for the first time today in a very long time! Also, I have had trouble sleeping for the past 4 years (awake until 2-4 in the morning) but the BG really helps me sleep. I worked up to 2 Tsp/2X day on an empty stomach. Won't be without this power packed nutrient rich juice with vitamins, minerals & enzymes (23 minerals, 16 vitamins, 18 amino acids & live enzymes)! There is so much power packed in this soft little powder. If you use this you will find yourself more energized and get loads of nutrients.I use about 4oz of room temperature bottled water and a tsp of Barley Max Berry. Using a small jar so you can mix it well first put in the water then add the powder. I find just swirling it in the bottom of the jar works fine, you don't have to give yourself a workout shaking real hard. Just swirl until you don't see any small clumps. If you shake the jar up and down you will end up with it being a little foamy...I don't like it foamy myself...hence just swirling.You drink this before meals so it will pass through you and you get all of the benefits from it. You can start out using it once a day if three times a day seems like too much...but ultimately you want to work up to three times a day.This Barley Max Berry tastes just like it's name...berries! I will admit there is a little green taste but not much. I have a very active gag reflex and if I can get this down I believe anybody can.We used to have Barley Green and there was no way I could ever keep that one down. I'm loving this product. I usually take it each morning a while before eating breakfast. It keeps me going all day(sometimes not realizing I've missed meals). If you're not used to products like this DO NOT do the full suggested serving amount(1 tsp 3 times a day). I was surprised at how quickly my body reacted once I started giving it something good for it, but thankfully, a bathroom was nearby(LOL). The taste takes some getting used to, while I have no experience with the regular flavored version, the "berry" aspect of this one is barley noticeable(See what I did there? :D). My experience so far has been good. I'm much more regular, am sleeping better, feel healthier, and what little body odor I had has diminished. Read more

This is some good stuff! I used the original flavor and actually got used to the barley/grassy taste. But, I wanted to try the berry flavor out of curiosity. The berry flavor is nice! But, I will go back to the original flavor when I'm all done.BarleyMax relieved my acid reflux, super-charged my energy level, and is giving me a gentle internal cleanse! We order other organic wheat grasses and we decided to try this new brand, to our surprise this one was chunky with hard lumps. You see in the photos we stirred it up and bigger chunks came to the top. Now I'm questioning how long this sat on the shelf? I went ahead and mixed up a glass 2 oz of water in a mason jar shook it up like we normally shake up our powder mixes and this one was chunky when I finish shaking it. I prefer the taste of the natural green barley max. The berry flavor is awfully sweet. My son likes the berry flavor better. I don’t eat sugar much so that probably accounts for that.
