This product is AMAZING!If you have thinning hair or greying hair, this powder is a must have.It even creates a bit of volume to my very thin hair.I've purchased many different hair products to conceal my thinning hair.Most are ineffective, messy or leave my hair feeling greasy.It's super easy to use.I even use it for my sparse eye brows, I simply brush use a soft small lip liner brush to fill in my brows for a natural look.I also love that it lasts till your next shampoo.At first I didn't like the built in sponge, but I've grown to really like it.The powder sticks to the sponge making it easy to apply to whatever area you want to cover up.The powder doesn't come off on pillows if you leave it on over night. So I wanted to give a review for this item because I know how difficult it is to find a good product to hide your thinning hair. After weeks of researching I found this item to be good a value and almost identical to the higher priced products. So I ordered them on Cyber a Monday and received the product by Thursday which was great. I immediately took it out the box and the following were my observations :- The container is tiny so if you plan on using everyday, you might want to stock up.- If you have large areas of hair loss, you have to use a little product and kind of spread it around with your fingers. If you add too much it looks fake especially in Black color like mine.- It’s not water or sweat proof like the description says. I kind of knew this from other products I have used before. So unless you wash your hair everyday, you will need to wrap your head or cover your pillows, it will stain and not come out.- Next, I was happy with the results but about an hour later my scalp started itching in the areas I applied the product. Not sure if I’m allergic to it or my scalp was sensitive as I had just washed and dried it. Everyone is different so you might not have that reaction.- If you do start to itch and you scratch those areas, your nails and fingers will stain; it’s very hard to remove especially from your nails.So final recommendation: I’m only going to use it when I go out and then wash my hair afterwards but if itching continues I will discontinue use as I don’t want to have an allergic reaction which can damage my scalp. Around your hairline in the front and side, you should use an eyebrow brush for better control of product. Using the puff will add too much product and again can look fake. I have thinning hair just right in the front and my hair is pretty gray when it starts to grow out so they gray makes my thinning look even worse! This product covers the gray and it makes my 'balding' spot go away. This one spot stresses me out so much! I definitely recommend this product. Read more

It's so easy to use and allows you to get right up to the hairline and cover the halo of roots around your face. I use the L'Oreal cover-up root spray for the larger areas (thanks to COVID quarantine, I have a larger area!) and then use this Sevich powder on the hairline. The combo works great together! Because I have thinning color-treated hair, I've tried variety of products over the years to help lessen the visibility of my scalp. This product is the least expensive of this type of hairline powder and is quite effective. If I'm trying to cover up scalp areas, the included sponge applicator works pretty well (more on that later). If I'm covering up gray roots at temple/hairline then I just use a small makeup brush to apply the power which works well.Gave this only 4 stars because the round sponge applicator is a bit too awkward for me. I have a partially disabled dominant hand and I have trouble holding on to the very thin, smooth-finished rigid base of the sponge. Also, when you're trying to cover up hairlines, they are linear and not round. Therefore, that shape does not really lend itself to the shapes you're trying to cover.Bottom line, this is a pretty effective product at a better price than similar type products. When I first used the product I put too much on the sponge and ended up with circles on the grey, but after putting less on the sponge it covered great, the pot was smaller than expected, and I found holding the sponge attached to the base that pulls out, very hard to keep hold of, there is nothing to grip so kept dropping it, I do have arthritis in my fingers, but as it is really for covering grey hair I would say most customers are older generation and would probably have difficulty gripping very small things. It comes as a compressed powder but this morning I noticed small lumps breaking off, I have only been using it a week. Read more

Unfit for purpose. Covers your scalp but disintegrates from your hair in a couple of hours. Application sponge is ok but you cannot blend the edges of your face easily with it. Read more

Prompt delivery and absolutely delighted with this product..I henna my hair now as I am allergic to hair dyes..the henna doesn’t always cover the grey but blends it..and this just does the trick for extra coverage if I need it..brilliant and would definitely recommend! Read more
