I had lost my curler hooks that came with my spirals. After I replaced that one, the replacement broke, because it wasn't durable to withstand my hair. These two have lasted and they are able to hook my hair and never have had an issue with them. I have loved using these to give my hair a boost of curl. I have straight hair and this is very helpful to give it just enough curl. I used it the night before my wedding to give my hair some volume before going to the hairdresser. I had to buy these because I lost my original wand that came with the curlers. These are BETTER!! The original wand would fall apart when trying to pull hair strands through the curlers, and I ended up having to tape it together so it wouldn't keep happening. I have no such problem with these!!!
