I had been a JFM user for a few years, but they seemed to have changed their formula making it less effective and more irritating to the skin. I decided to give this stuff a try and I can already tell a difference after one use. The product is easy to mix and apply and doesn't take a lot of effort to get coverage. I let it set in for about 7 minutes so I could make sure the gray hairs had enough time to soak it in since I am mostly dark brown with gray areas in the chin area. I washed it all off and found that it had absorbed better than JFM and didn't leave any dyed skin areas. I will say that it is best to do this in the morning since you have some skin oils preventing the dye from absorbing into your skin. After a few hours, I still have no skin irritation where JFM would already have me itching. The color seems much more even with this product so I am really hoping I can only do this once a week. Time will tell. With JFM, I was having to apply it 2-3 times a week, which was a drag and made me perpetually itchy. Read more
