I am along term dipper. This gum has single handedly help me quit dipping. I went from 1 can a dip every 2-3 days to no dip at all. I will chew a piece of gum and then hold it in my lip as if I have a dip in. It helps my craving for actual tobacco and it has no negative effects besides a sore jaw from chomping on the gum. Read the warning label before using as directed. I read that nicotine gum is not bad, but nicotine itself make your blood sticky. So check with your Dr prior to using.The gum tastes great and doesn't produce a lot of spit. I have given this gum to other people (smokers) and their main complain is that it gives them indigestion. It was the most affordable that I could find.It is soft and you can feel the nicotine release. Just as effective as the name brand stuff and better packaging. It pops out of the foil backing on the pack without having to peel back that annoying paper first. I normally use nicorette and, I dont feel these work as well. Also, the packaging is bad - when you pop out a piece, it normally tears open two. The packaging has them to close together. The nicoderm has perforated seperations so you can take a couple pieces with you at a time, this habitrol does not - you have to take the whole package of 12 with you. Read more
