This cup is great for our 7 month old! Of course she needs help drinking out of it, but the big handles make it easier for her to attempt to hold. The clear color is also great because I can see the level of the liquid and watch where the liquid is as I tilt the cup towards baby’s mouth. This helps prevent spills and choking. I can’t speak to the other colors, as I didn’t order them and only ordered the clear for exactly this purpose. This cup is also very easy to clean, as it’s silicone.We like this cup better than the tiny ezpz because that one a) isn’t clear and b) doesn’t have handles.The one issue with this cup is the nose cut out. Baby’s face is way too small to need a nose cut out. Her nose winds up inside the cup when she’s drinking. So mostly the nose cut out makes it so that I need to pay extra attention to be sure to put the other side of the cup in front of baby and to make sure she drinks out of the other side. It also reduces her independence because I have to make sure she grabs the correct side of the cup since drinking out of the side with the nose cut out doesn’t work. Read more
Love the cup. Perfect size for small hands. Not to heavy or light. Clear color makes it easy to see the contents. Easy to clean and can be put in boiling water to sanitize. Perfect for my baby to learn to drink from a cup (no intention of giving a sippy cup).Giving a 4* due to the cut out for the nose being impractical. The mouth of the cup is wide so the nose is inside the cup when drinking hence the cut out is useless. Read more
I have never had issues with silicon products and never quite understood the reviews when people write their products smelled weird until I ordered this cup.It stinks.I have tried washing it, soaking in vinegar and baking soda and even tried to bake the smell out. It’s impossible and it makes whatever my baby is drinking smell bad too. I now walk into the kitchen and smell it immediately. I keep hoping the smell will dissipate on its own but so far the stink isn’t going anywhere. It’s too bad since my daughter loves the cup and it really is great for little hands. She also spills a lot less using it but the smell… such a turn off. Read more
Just had my 5mo attempt to use an open cup for the first time! He was able to grab this cup super easy (the handles are big) and the silicone is nice and not slippery. Also was great that when he inevitably threw it off his high chair, it didn’t break (just bounced around). Read more
This was really pricey for a infant cup, but I decided to try it. I do like the nose cut out, and the silicone that's easy on infant gums. But it's not any more special than a regular sippy cup at half the price. My baby doesn't prefer this one, she takes small sips, and I see it's easier for her to drink out of a sippy cup with a spout instead. It's just ok. Read more
I like the gummy feel of the silicone and the two handles- makes it nice for baby. BUT the design is STUPID! There is a cut out for the baby's nose, but the cup is SOOO BIG that the cut out will never line up. In fact the cut out for the nose doesn't even line up for my ADULT sized face. stupid design flaw. I don't get it? Did Haaka even TRIAL this cup on an ACTUAL BABY FACE???? WTF. For reference my baby is a good sized chunky 6 month old.The cup is decent for a little handheld thing, but pushing it for the cut out is ridiculous. Read more
This is a well designed clear cup. My toddler loves it. It’s clear design makes it easier to see the liquids. It’s hard to find clear silicone cups. They are typically a solid color making it difficult to see where the liquid is. The cutout makes it easy to tip the cup and drink out of. My toddler now can drink out of other cups with confidence.
