I bought the 10 bag set. I finally finished using my one use breastmilk bags and began to wash the haakaa bags and one so far one has broken at the bottom. I haven’t even used it. Just washed it. I’m so sad about this because I wanted to love these and now I’m not so sure if the rest of them won’t break like this too. I wanted to be environmentally friendly and invest in these bags for my breastmilk storage. However, silicon takes the taste and odor or whatever it is next to. Even if you put them close to ziplocked food, you’ll have that food taste in the milk. Next to cake, you’ll have cake milk, next to ziplocked onion, you’ll have onion milk. I put them in a plastic box covered with cloths in the freezer, it took metal taste of the freezer.I tried every solution to make these work but no amount of coverage was enough. I have to dump 90 oz of milk to trash because of it because I can guarantee your little one will not drink a metal taste milk. Don’t buy them for breastmilk storage. Read more

I am loving these:They stand up when I pour milk into them.I can get a silicon bottle brush inside to clean.I can shake them up to melt the fat back into the milk when I need to make a bottle, and the lid stays sealed with zero leaks.I can freeze them or store in the fridge, they have a small footprint which is great because I'm pumping for twins!I can pack them for work and they take up very little space.Cons: I can't seem to find an adapter that fits them so I can pump directly into them. They don't have ounces labeled in them, so I have to pay attention to how much I'm pouring into them from my pump bottles so I can note it on the label. Read more

I had to throw out all the breastmilk stored within these pouches, twice! After the first round yielded strange smelling/tasting thawed breastmilk, I figured that they required a third cleaning (first round we washed in warm soapy water, used a soft foam brush to clean the insides, and sterilized in boiling water, and repeated once again). Three rounds of cleaning and sterilizing did not solve the tainted breastmilk issue, and we were so disappointed. Now we use them by filling them with hot water to keep milk warm when traveling or as cold packs (filled with frozen water). They are great at insulating other breastmilk storage bags, but will ruin any breastmilk stores inside of the Haakaa silicone bags. Read more

I was extremely excited about these pouches. I was hesitant due to price but ultimately decided to get them a chance. I’m disappointed due to the first one I used breaking after the very first use. I’m not sure if I maybe got a defective pouch?? I did follow all instructions and did not overfill the bag. At this point I don’t think I would repurchase the product due to price and the durability has already failed me. Read more

I love using this product. It makes me feel so much better using these for my milk. I use to waste so many bags at my daughters daycare. I recommend this to anyone. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is one of my bags was broken when I opened the package. I didn’t want to send them all back because there wonderful but 9/10 ain’t bad. Read more
