The goat bristle brush is soft and works well. I used soap and washed mine before use. Some of the smell came out, but it definitely still smells of goat even after fully dried. I would recommend a couple rounds of washing. The comb is too thick and bulky for fine newborn hair. The comb the hospital provided is better. I would purchase the brush as a gift, but the comb could use improvement. This did arrive in a cute bag that will be handy while traveling. Read more
