These dental appliances and fixtures are often considered by dental professionals to be plaque traps that require additional cleaning effort. If not cleaned as part of a daily oral hygiene routine, buildup of dental plaque may compromise the health and longevity of the appliance as well of the surrounding natural teeth. This item is a six pack of 6 threaders not a six pack of 25. They also arrived in small white envelopes not the packaging shown. I am very disappointed by the inaccurate description. I would not purchase this item again. Read more

Apparently my orthodontist made the gaps in my permanent bottom retainer smaller than the average persons, or so my hygienist tells me. These are the only threaders that I can consistently fit through the gaps and use on a regular basis. Read more

I've been using this brand for some time with my orthodontic appliances. The threaders are very easy to use and durable, because they can be cleaned and used multiple times. They are hygienically packed in sealed packages with cardboard backing and a plastic bubble cover (sanitary packing is very important to me with any health/dental product). They resist stretching and bending, as long as they are put back flat into the plastic container cases. I'm looking forward to my orthodontic work being completed this year, and while I won't miss having to use floss threaders (I've been using them for nearly 3 years(!)), I'll always have positive memories of using this essential orthodontic tool. These threaders are a little bit different than the samples I receive from my dentist. Instead of being needle like, they are belt like and very easy to bend when I was trying to thread it under my bridge. I am not sure how genuine this product is. Read more

I have a crown and flossing has been a nightmare because I couldn’t use the floss that has been stretched onto a pick anymore. This is easily the best purchase I've made towards caring for my teeth while using braces. You can get multiple uses out of one by cutting off the used floss you tied to the loop. Flossing after big meals, and before bed is a must if you want to care for your teeth properly. Read more
