I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing the product because of the price - it is the most I think I have ever paid for a powder. I did a considerable amount of research and read every review I could before deciding to purchase. Every review I read was so positive that I knew I had to give this product a change. Here are my thoughts:1. Let's start with the actual container - it is a textured metal container, inlaid with a flower on the lid. It is way too nice to hide away in a drawer - I keep it on my vanity table as a decorative accent.2. It comes with a very nice powder puff, however I am a bit of a germ/contamination junkie and choose not to use it as I feel like placing it back in the container after applying to my face causes bacterial contamination of the product. I instead use a fluffy makeup brush (a new one every time) that can be washed to prevent bacterial buildup.3. The pearls come in five separate colors - pink, bronze, yellow, green, and purple. You can actually use all of the colors at once or separate out desired color. The pearls are silky and not chalky, it blends smoothly onto the skin without dragging or pulling, and it has not caused irritation or breakouts.I use this product to set my makeup, including my under eye concealer. It lasts all day and does not settle into the fine lines around my eye. I highly recommend this product - it is pricey, but for the quality it is well worth the price. Read more

I’m so stinking confused and concerned right now I don’t know where to begin.Under normal circumstances I purchase Meteorites when I’m in France. Due to the current situation with the pandemic our recent trip was cancelled. Needing an additional Meteorites in a darker shade due to summer bronzing, I wanted to purchase the Medium shade. When I went to Nordstrom last week, to purchase the store did not have any of the medium shade in their inventory.And so, I came over to Amazon and ordered from this vendor.When my Meteorites was delivered, in quick time,48 hours, I noticed a few red flags:Red Flag 1: No cellophane wrapping covering the box. The Météorites I’ve purchased in the past had a cellophane wrapping over the box. This was cause for doubt and concern.Red Flag 2. No Fluffy Puff. The products purchased previously came with a puffy powder puff in the container. This came with a foam rubber puff. The foam rubber puff isn’t very user-friendly and further cause for doubt that is a dupe. The foam doesn’t work as well in applying the meteorites.Red Flag 3-Where is that delightful Meteorites scent? Météorites have a very distinct scent. It’s sweet almost like candy and dissipates upon application. These Meteorites lacked that beautiful scent-securing my doubts.Other Red Flags: Différent font and the size of the lettering on the box.The container was fine-exactly the same as the original Meteorites that I have.The pearls, when the container was shaken, broke down into a dusting, which is what I like. Before applying the Meteorites, I shake the container to break the pearls down, making application easier-the breakdown was excellent.In addition, these applied nicely with a pretty sheen.I’m flummoxed because given the packaging and foam puff and lack of scent, I cannot help thinking I’ve purchased a dupe. But the product itself works.Just beware when ordering not from the Guerlain site. Read more

Initially I thought this product would be too dark or obvious on my skin, but it was quite the opposite. The product was very faint on my medium complexion. It gave a faint glow. It’s too light to use as a blush for me, and I was hoping for a bigger color payoff.One of my favorite surprises though with this product is it’s fragrance! I always loved Guerlain Meteorites! It looks so natural and gives a healthy glow. I use a brush to apply; that was enough for me. I only apply it once a day, then I just pat my face when I begun to look oily, mainly on my nose and forehead. I started using other brands because of the cost but it was never "right" for me. I decided to go back to Guerlain and I'm happy! I will stay with Guerlain- the price is well worth the product. Read more
