I was going to make my own grounding mat but decided instead to buy this one after viewing all of the ones for sale. I like it. I made a youtube video on it titled How to test and use an earthing or grounding mat plus my health experience from using one. I still plan to make one and post a video of it too. This thing is magical! Incredible rush of energy that lasts with you all day! I use the mat first thing in the morning for 30–45 minutes, and actually had to quit coffee because I was too wired! The first thing I did was to check the mat and wrist band with a continuity meter , I did this due to the number of faulty mats being sold . Both the mat and the wrist band were grounding . This is my second week using it while sleeping , beginning to feel a difference in my knees . I have noticed that my 14 yr. old dog lays on it for a couple hours a day ???? I was originally upset that everything I purchase in Amazon comes from China including this item but the seller was so responsive that I kept the product. I used a multimeter and tested over and over again and it does reduce the amount of voltage in your body. The energy goes out the body, through the mat and outside. I was skeptical of this product. My first time trying it, I stood on it for 15 minutes and noticed the stiffness in my knees decreased. I tested the grounding outlet thinking it may be a placebo effect. It proved to be working. My sleep has been much deeper especially with the band around my wrist at night. When I fall asleep, I stay asleep. I also noticed my anxiety at work has gone down and my overall mood has improved. Sleeping with the mat under my ankles has helped with inflammation. I am absolutely thrilled with this product. I have used earthing mats before with good results and I no longer felt an effect using my old mat that was almost 3 years old so I decided to try buying a new mat. This one did not disappoint! I just received this item today and I can tell that the snap on the mat will pull out of the rubber mat if I keep taking the grounding wire on and off to switch the wire between the mat and the wrist. strap.
