I admit it: I'm a collector. I have piles of stuff, and have been storing it in ugly cardboard boxes and strangely-shaped bags, which make my whole flat look like a junk heap. Then I saw these and decided to give them a try.Well, I still have piles of stuff, but storing it in tasteful linen makes a big difference to the look of my place. The boxes are easy, easy, easy to set up, and the jumbo hold a LOT. The handles are strong, as are the inserts for the bottoms, the lids fit perfectly; and, unlike some storage bins, these are straight up and down from top to bottom, which makes them easy to pack and stack (no bottoms that are narrower than the tops). These boxes are pretty cheap! You definitely cannot fill the larger size with jeans or sweaters because the handles will rip off and the bottom will sag and tear. The top and the entire box is made from cheap and flimsy heavy paper (not strong cardboard) covered in a paper product that wants to be fabric but is definitely NOT fabric. Read more

I ordered this item twice. The quality has really declined since my first order. The seems were nice on first order, ugly on second. On my first order, the covering was cloth like, with a matte/no hind look. Now they make it with a nylon covering (like a cheep flag material) that is shiny and gaudy. There is really nothing wrong with it. I read all the other reviews and for the money, NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. For what it is sold as, it is very sturdy. You can not expect to fill it with rocks, heavy books, or bulky/heavy tools for hardware/gardening and have it do good but it is plenty sturdy for most things that you would want to organize at home. Yes, it may have a cardboard bottom that LOOKS a little thin but it is very sturdy and covered with fabric like covering that matches the inside. Without the bottom in, yes it’s “flimsy on the sides but after the bottom is in, you can not make one side touch the other. At first I thought the lid was going to be a piece of junk and cumbersome to put on because the corners APPEAR flimsy but if you hold it by the wide side, it is easy to put on correctly with one hand. If you do that with the short side,, it does collapse in on the long sides. They look great and looks like they will handle use well as well as hold up well. Baskets are great for storage underneath mine coffee table or for use in bedroom or office for storage. I really like that they come with lids included that way if you want to put items in there and cover them up it looks great. Read more

I was so happy to find bins with lids. When I got them and set them all up, I was happy with them; they seemed sturdy, they were attractive and would look nice in my walk-in closet. However, they had an extremely strong smell to them. I left them on my screened porch overnight which did not help at all. The other unfortunate thing, and this is something that probably doesn’t happen to many others, but there was something in that material the I was quite allergic to. My eyes were burning, my skin started to break out and I could feel it in my breathing. Had someone else pack them back up and sent them back for return. 😕 Read more
