I've been wanting to get a second GOOD car seat for my husbands vehicle for a while. When I saw the drop in price, I ran out to the local stores to "test" the SlimFit out. I looked at the SlimFit and the Milestone, both were on sale (Walmart) for the same price and are basically the same seat. My primary car seat is a 2014 Graco 4Ever which I absolutely adore. It has tons of features and both the SlimFit and Milestone are comparable. Ultimately my daughter and I chose the SlimFit because of the two (collapsible) cup holders.The seat is super cushiony! There is a good amount of cushion in the head and butt area, as well as added lumbar support. Feels more cushy than the 4Ever, but ours has been in use for several years. The frame is reinforced with steel like the 4Ever, but I did notice that the "beams" are not as thick or wide as the 4Ever. No doubt this is why the SlimFit is quite a bit lighter. The SlimFit also features the inRight latch system that is a must have. Pretty easy installation, although the inRight latch belt is a bit harder to get as snug as I want. That could be due to the fact it is brand new. The harness automatically adjusts when you raise and lower the headrest. The seat/base is slightly slimmer than the 4Ever. I am currently testing the SlimFit out in my 2014 Mazda CX-5 (middle seat) and I feel like there is slightly more room for passengers vs when I have the 4Ever in the same place.The only con is that there are only 4 "recline" positions. I wish there were 5. The 4Ever has 2 recline positions just for forward facing (6 total including "booster mode") which is a plus. I feel like it's a little more comfortable with the added recline. All in all, the SlimFit is definitely comparable to the 4Ever. I would definitely recommend if you can purchase for below retail (I $183, $199 after tax).Added a photo for asthetic comparison. Ok. So please forgive all of the pictures but when I was looking for new car seats seeing actual comparison pictures really helped me make my decision. We are upgrading from the Graco extend2fit car seat. I drive a 2015 Subaru crosstrek, the smallest of the Subaru crossover line. Middle seat room is important as there is a teenager in our house that sometimes needs to sit in the back for ull family outings (if I could do it all again, I would have just bought the minivan that I swore up and down we didn’t need and I didn’t want)Anyway, comparing the two seats side by side, you can see the the extend2fit sits on a bit of a higher base. The lack of armrest and the flip out cup holders do make the seat a bit slimmer on the slimfit. The back and headrest are similar on both seats but a difference that was noticable is the the back of the slimfit is a solid panel as opposed to the extend2fit with an open back. This difference is mearly cosmetic and they are both functional.The recline option is the same, the padding is the same, the wonderful sliding headrest to adjust height is the same (this is also my most favorite option on the Graco seats)The seat looks comfortable, the install for rear facing was straight forward; forward facing you have to remove the latch and slide it through the rear pass (didn’t know that, called Graco and a tech walked me through it) I did get my hand fully stuck trying to get the latch through the rear pass but that’s water under the bridge at this point.The seat seems a bit lighter than the extend2fit but this is a heavy seat, this is not a great choice if you move car seats on a regular basis or want to lug it through the airport.I love that all of the padding is removable and machine washable, I don’t love that without the infant seat insert there are a ton of cracks and slips through the fabric for animal crackers and gummy snacks to migrate to.All in all, this is a sturdy, well built seat that does become a booster (which is a bonus that I won’t need another car seat for the kids down the road)TL;DRThe seat doesn’t seem much smaller than extend2fit but it’s nice. It's a tight fit! But we were able to fit 3 car seats across in my Ford Escape! We had the graco 4ever and graco nautilus before these and they were too wide to be able to have the infant seat next to them. We switched them out for 2 slimfits and now the infant seat fits perfectly! Def. recommend this seat for small cars! Read more

El producto indudablemente es de alta calidad, los materiales son excelentes. Se puede sentir que el asiento tiene mucha resistencia y a la vez es cómodo. Es grande y ocupa por completo el espacio que utilizaría un adulto grande. Se ve que se puede utilizar por varios años ya que cuenta con varias configuraciones para irse adaptando al crecimiento del bebe. Muy fácil de instalar, ya sea con seguros o el cinturón de seguridad. Mi bebe lo ha disfrutado mucho, la tela no lo hace sudar. El precio es un poco elevado, pero sigue valiendo la pena. La seguridad de nuestros hijos y su comodidad no tienen precio en realidad. Comentan que tiene varias posiciones para reclinar, pero ajustado el asiento ya no se puede mover, si es que esta en la posicion de sentados ya que topa con el asiento del carro, así que si mi hija se queda dormida, va con la cabeza colgando porque no la puedo reclinar Read more

Muy difícil de instalar en mi auto, la Correa de sujeción del isofix viene un par de centímetros más corta para el espacio que tiene mi auto y esa información no se puede ver antes de comprarla a menos que la veas físicamente. Es un muy buen producto a un precio justo. Read more
