Purchased two seats (orange and purple) for our 4yo kids. I decided on these boosters after spending about 4 hours going through amazon reviews of options and also scouring the internet die unbiased reviews. So a few of the things o am knocking stars off for I knew in advance but still want others to understand.Biggest issue (which I had not found in my research). We installed these in our 2013 Chevy Equinox. I can tell also that we would have the same problem in our GM Buick Enclave. If you have a vehicle with a head rest that is not COMPLETELY flush with the vehicle seat back you will have issues with proper installation. The seat instructions are very clear that the back of the booster headrest should NOT touch the vehicle head rest. If it does it can be a safety hazard. Every Chevy vehicle I own has head rests that will be an obstruction. To get these seats to work we had to remove the headrest off our car. The car owner manual and dealerships will tell you they are not removable and for safety reasons I would not suggest removing unless there is a car seat such as this one that is in the seating position. Search the net and you will find instructions on how to remove the headrest. Keep all the parts so that when needed you can reinstall them. Use a large flathead screw driver to place under the black round pieces. Press up to pop those pieces up. Press both of the mechanisms on the right side on each post at the same time and then while still pressing lift up on the headrest. Bang no longer an obstruction. If you don’t want to do this then don’t buy this seat. The cup holder and storage compartment can not be switched to opposite sides. The cup holder is on the right side. If you position the seat on the passenger side your kid will likely knock the cup around getting in and out. It would be nice if there was a way to reverse the cup holder with the storage holder. If you position behind the drivers side no issues. My kids are four. They were able to buckle themselves in and out of their 5-point harness seats. Unfortunately the ones we had were only up to 40lb so we opted to transition to boosters for this car instead of upgrading to a higher weight/height five point harness chair. The kids cannot self buckle in these new chairs. Maybe with more time and practice....Positive - absolutely love the easy in and out using the latch system that has the front pull for tightening. Remember the intent of this latch isn’t to secure your child but to simply prevent the chair from becoming a projectile in the event you should be driving without a kid in the seat to hold it down. Boosters without latch system will tell you in instructions to buckle the booster in with the seatbelt when a child isn’t in them....yeah right. So yes when latched in the seat does move. If you hold it to the no more than 1” total movement rule it will fail. But it’s the car’s seatbelt that holds your child and the chair in place in an accident. The price. Really it can’t be beat. In my research I had narrowed my decision down to the Chicco KidFit and this seat (we prefer Britax safety ratings but the price for those in our secondary vehicle was a stretch). Ultimately I chose this one over the Chicco because it was about 40 cheaper and also funny enough there were some warnings about possible head rest obstructions with the Chicco. Read more

I bought two of these Graco Booster seats to replace my Britax carseats for my 6 year olds - who were too tall for their old car seats. These boosters are recommended for kids from 30-100 lb and up to 57" tall. Here are the positives/negatives of these seats from my perspective:Positives:-Easy to install- Secure connection to your vehicle seat with one-hand front-adjust latch to keep seat in place- Kiddos can self-buckle and unbuckle easily - makes for a fast drop off on the days I take them to school-The high seat back detaches, so you can just use the bottom booster-Cup holder-Decent safety ratingsNegatives:-Compared to the all around support of the Britax, this seat definitely is not as comfortable (per my kids). If they doze off, the side head support actually seems more shallow than pictured, so you have bobble heads all over the place in the back seat-The material (Pierce) is light and shows stains and spills easily. I should have bought a darker color-The advertised front adjustment is supposed to allows you to quickly and easily tighten the booster to the vehicle seat - this doesn't work that well with my seats Read more

I'm one of those parents who worries. All.the.time. So, I hemmed and hawed about moving my almost 6 year old (yes, I know) to a booster instead of a 5-point harness carseat. As you can imagine, that are roughly 8,000 booster seats to choose from. I decided to purchase this one for several reasons:1. It got good reviews, consistently2. It had a back; I didn't want to get a backless booster. But, it also converts to a backless booster for when my daughter gets older.3. It utilized the LATCH system as an additional precaution.I know that securing a booster seat with the LATCH system isn't really necessary because the seat belt should keep the seat in place. However, I'm a nervous Nelly and felt that this would be a more secure booster. It was easy to assemble (all you have to do is put the arms, cup holder, and back on) and then put it in the car. My daughter loves this seat. She thinks it's comfortable and she loves being able to wear a seat belt like mommy and daddy. She also is pleased that she can buckle and unbuckle herself. My husband also said it was easy to install. The only downsides to it are minor ones. I really wish the seat had cup holders on both sides. The reason for that is we have her car seat on the right side of the car. The cup holder is also on the right side. That means that she bumps into whatever is in the cup holder when she gets in and out of the car. There is a little drawer on the left hand side of the seat, but it's hard to open and close and, frankly, is a little too small to hold much of anything. Also, I really wish the colors were more vibrant. The purple is brighter in person than on the screen, but it's still very subdued. But, overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, as is my daughter who uses it every day. Read more

Read more

Recomendado 100%. Read more
