It’s nice quality, but it’s just not what I had hoped. The ropes are super long— we have it the shortest possible length and my toddler’s feet hit the ground when he swings, but there’s no way for us to make it shorter without breaking the entire swing. Also the clips at the top are a thick plastic coated metal— they almost didn’t fit into the swing, and we can’t add anything to help otherwise the swing would essentially touch the ground. Again— it’s not the worst swing, the material is nice and it looks solid, but it’s much more suited to infants and tall swing sets. Read more
Within the forest week of use the bottom of the yellow t-bar cam undone twice - once on each of my children - mid-swing. The belt caught them around the middle and prevented them from falling to the ground, but left a slight red mark on their stomachs. The swing also does not swing smoothly, tilts slightly. For reference, my boys are 35 and 26 pounds, below the 40 pound weight limit. My parents have the Little Tikes version of this style of swing and I will purchasing that to replace it as it is much sturdier - the t-bar hinges on it and there are shoulder straps instead of a lap belt. I would not recommend this swing for young kids. It tilts forwards and is very difficult to put my 8month old into.Once he is in and buckled he is safe and fine. But getting him into this swing is very difficult. It moves on the ropes and titls forward. The yellow bar slides up and at this stage he grabs everything so he has pinched his fingers several times. If someone could tell me if it is possible to adjust the height at which the swing sits my review would’ve higher. To appears to me you cannot adjust the height and as you can see in my photo, sits significantly lower to the ground than my other infant/child swing. Read more
Getting my kid in and out of it is a pain the *** you have to slide the yellow lap piece up the pieces of rope amd hope it doesn’t come down while you’re trying to seat your kid or hold it up with one hand and try to stick your kid in the seat with the other hand (one handed) or have somebody help you. Wish I would’ve returned it before the window closed. Also the depth of the seat is not good. Read more
Don’t buy it! Cheaply made , the SEAT LEANS FORWARD you have to cut the robes and then knotting them under each hole , very tight I can barely get my son out of it and he’s just 2 years old , I just hate it, what a waste of money ! Read more
The swing itself is well constructed and sturdy but the length of the rope is super long and even if you adjust it to the shortest length my 2 year olds feet touch the ground- note my daughter is only in the 10% for her height and age. The swing also leans way forward once she starts swinging- no matter how many times i try to adjust it so she’s leaning back- overall i should have sucked it up and bought the little tikes name brand swing instead of looking for a deal- you live and you learn Read more
There's a lot I dislike about this seat, for starters nothing prevents the seat from freely moving so your child leans forward and the whole thing tilts/moves and they almost fall out. The shortest length of rope is still long, nothing holds the bar up so that falls and hits you trying to put them in which is a challenge as is due to how much this thing moves around. It works, but spend a little extra money for something better. Trust me. Read more
