I have super thick hair and used to use the jumbo bobby pins but can't seem to find them anymore (somehow, like socks, bobby pins just seem to disappear over time). I wish these came in a bulk case because, like I said, they somehow slowly disappear and I still need several for an up-do. I first bought a set of this kind of bobby pins years ago at a drugstore. They were a life-changer as the pins were the only kind that actually worked with my very thick hair. I could quickly pin my hair into a bun with only a few of these (instead of two dozen.)I discovered this series of bobby pins was discontinued went to buy more about a year later. I searched everywhere, but store still had any in stock. The newer style of bobby pins were useless in my hair. Years later, I finally found and bought these on Amazon. First off the low review is not for the product itself but for quality control. I ordered 2 10 packs of Goddy colourcollectuons Bobby’s pins brunette. I received 1 and a 1/2 packages. Somebody forgot how to count. That being said I really do like this larger pins they work great in my thick hair and don’t snap or twist when I put them in unlike regular bobby pins. Read more

Received half black and other a gray-ish taupe(?). Not as described. Also, too long and gap is wider than a typical bobby pin. Not sure how to use it because it’s difficult to flip to pin into hair. Do not recommend Unless you have thick curly hair and don’t mind the two different shades of color. Read more

Had been looking for some of these for a very long time. My original pack lasted me years. The quality is great. I have 5 pins from my original pack remains and even though most of the color is gone they still hold my hair well. They are still as tight and haven’t changed shape at all.I was so glad I found these knowing they will last a long while as long as I keep track of them. Read more
