These are great, but you have to know how to use them. The tips are flexible, and most of us bought these and assumed we should pull the tips away from our head to avoid headache. This will make your headaches worse, because all of the pressure is now located at one point on either side of your head. The tips are meant to form to your head so that the pressure is distributed along a longer area, reducing headaches. I bought a 2 pack of these over 10 years ago from my local grocery store and wore them for years. My friends and mother borrowed them and lost them and I checked every store I went to over the years but could never find any with the teeth. I did find one that did not have the teeth but it slips and slides and never stays in place. These are the exact pair I purchased all those years ago (with the teeth) !!! To the reviewers thinking they received a “defective pair” because the bottoms are bent: Their supposed to be like that. The bottoms are bendable, so you can make them fit comfortably on your head and to relieve pressure behind your ears that normal (unbendable) headbands can cause. I really love the tiny teeth at the top of the headbands because they catch slightly on your hair and stay in place for good! They do not hurt AT ALL like most headbands I have tried! I LOVE these! I had originally purchased them several years ago in a brick and mortar store with some skepticism ~ I like being able to pull my hair back, but after about an hour or so with a headband and I have headache. I thought I would try these oddball looking headbands out and see what happened. And they speak the truth!I have a side sweep kind of bang and I can not STAND it when it is in my face when I am trying to do something ~ cleaning, reading, etc. These are quick and easy and I can wear them hours and hours with NO pressure points! No headache, no moving it slightly to stop it from digging in! The only thing I would throw out there is to make sure you put the "L" at left and "R" at right ~ otherwise they are dreadfully uncomfortable. If on right ~ even the most sensitive head is not going to have a problem wearing these. These are the only headbands that I can comfortably wear. (Narrow rectangular head.) They curve out away from my head in a too-wide way which works well for my curly hair because it doesn't crush it. At first, the flexible tips are a bit too tight and does cause an uncomfortable ache above/behind my ears. I adjust the tips and expect to wear them for just a few hours each day for the first 2 -3 weeks. Over time they relax and become SUPER comfortable. This inexpensive plastic product doesn't last forever, the soft tips melt away over time and the plastic is prone to breaking under force. Still, I love these and rely on them almost every day. UPDATE:Since I loved these headbands I purchased 3 more of these 2 count packs.Unfortunately, all 6 of the headbands I received were flimsy and ill fitting. I compared the headbands from my first purchase to the ones from the second purchase and it's night and day.So maybe it's luck of the draw? They're a good deal sturdier than 90% of the headbands I've purchased. They do look small though. These headbands are a little flimsy, but a good value. Since I use them to just keep my bangs out of my face, they work great for me. I would not recommend them for more intricate hairstyles, though, as they're probably not sturdy enough to hold the hair in place. I have worn headbands for years and ordered these as they were marketed as very easy non tight to wear. I received them and so disappointed. They are made with one side that sticks out through your hair. I think the product would have been fine to fit without this extended piece on one side at the base. My hair is long and thick and the side sticks completely through my hair. Its a design disaster. Read more

I have been using these exactly headbands for a few years and was thrilled to find them here on Amazon on sale at a lower price than in the store. I love them because they really are ouchless - I don't feel them at all when I have one on all day. They are not tight and thanks to the rubber ends they are very comfortable behind the ears. I don't have a tiny head so to find these comfortable on me makes me especially happy as I've tried others in the past (not ouchless) that were small and hurt but these are wonderful. Read more
