I have no idea why in the world ANYONE would wake up one day & decide to make a 2" wide mouthed pin that's crimped on both sides, with sides that don't even line up and think it was actually a good idea. I have a thick, naturally curly hair, it's everywhere. I've been using bobby pins in my hair for 30 years...I've NEVER put one in that wouldn't even stay/hold it's position, not to mention the fact that no matter which way you put them in you're either stuck with 2 big hunks of metal digging into your scalp or 2 big hunks of metal sticking way out from your head so it looks like you have little antennas all over your skull. They are just weird. A man had to have made these thinking it was a good idea because I cannot imagine any woman on the planet that would think these would be even close to comparable to a regular bobby pin. You know, the same bobby pins that have been doing their job since the beginning of time?! If it's not broken, don't fix it folks...pretty simple.By the way, this means I don't recommend them. I wouldn't call these ouchless. In fact they are very different than any Bobby pins I've ever used. The side that usually lays flat is not flat. The opening is shaped like a V.They seem to hold the hair in place just fine. But when you want to take them out be prepared for them to pull your hair. They do not slide out nicely like usual Bobby pins do.The pictures do not show these horrible Bobby "slides" these are crimped on both sides also which is cause for the hair pulling when trying to remove them. If its not broke dont fix it. False advertising on this product. Read more

I have used Bobby Pins for over 60 years (I'm 80) and these have a big wide gap in the end where the nice ones have a close fit with the two sides. I haven't tried these yet but imagine they won't be too comfortable with that wide gap and maybe sticking into your head. How do they stay in place? I wish I could have seen what they lo9ok like when they are off the card. On the card, they look exactly like real good old Bobby Pins. What a waste. Read more

When I got these, I initially thought this was a messed up batch. I had never seen Bobby pins like this before, with the crimps on both sides.Turns out, that’s for a reason, these Bobby pins are straight up garbage. Pretty close to useless in my thick wavy hair that usually takes only two or three pins to hold an updo decently. Looking at the reviews, it’s clearly not a one off mistake, it’s something they’re doing now, and everyone hates them so I guess I’m just not buying goody anymore. Read more

Worthless. The ends are bent up so far that they stick out instead of laying smoothly against hair. The metal is also too soft, so the pins twist and bend, and are trash after one use. Read more

These are so thin & act like a twisty you get for food products...so a waste of money for this & will put in Goodwill for someone who can find a use -not for hair. I was a hair stylist- U could not believe what a waste....sorry~ Read more

Absolutely terrible- these slip and slide constantly and are the worst pins I've had the misfortune to have to work with. Read more

I’m a short haired gal... but since Covid I haven’t gotten my hair cut or colored. Hence the need for bobby-pins. I have to put my hair up, because I cannot stand it in my face or touching my shoulders. But, it still hasn’t grown out enough for just a ponytail. I have fly ways on the sides and hair too short in the back. 😑 It’s driving me nuts. But, the thought of sitting in a salon for 3 hours with a mask on... in the heat with dryers... and hair getting on my face... & in the mask... I get anxiety just thinking about it!!Ok, a bit off topic there. I like these pins... they are comfortable and stay in my thin straight hair. The only thing is...unlike my old Bobby-pins they don’t have one end that’s a smidge longer than the other. So it makes it difficult to pull the pin apart to slide it in my hair. You can see the difference in my last photo. A nice thing is that they have waves on both sides, so they stay put. Long story short... I’m happy with the pins... and super happy to get my hair outta my face! You get a lot of pins for the price... another plus. I would recommend these pins for those interested. ✨ 💇🏻‍♀️ ✨ Read more

Be sure when you order these that you're looking for pins that are crimped on both sides. If you're looking for flat on one and crimped on the other (as I was), look elsewhere. Read more

There is no flat side for against your scalp. Never thought of this - thought they were all the same. These ones actually hurt and I regret not doing my bobby pin research Read more

These bobby pins have 2 bent ends, meaning there is not the typical design where one flat edge can be tucked next to your scalp. Not sure how to use them, if this is a manufacturing mistake or there is an actual purpose for this bobby pin type that I'm not aware of. But these are not typical bobby pins. Read more

Crimped on both sides, was expecting the kind that's flat on one side and crimped on the other side. Read more
