Item that arrived was not the color displayed and instead of gray was pink. Not a huge deal but the item also arrived damaged with a crack in the mirror. When I attempted to return the item and replace it (which I have never had issues with) I discovered the item was “not eligible for returns”. It has been incredibly frustrating to use this mirror for anything close up. The reason is because there is a subtle Double Image in this mirror with any reflective object like tweezers if you are very close to the mirror. It is extremely annoying and makes a detailed task like tweezing difficult because you can't see the instrument properly. It almost gives me a headache. This mirror is good for greater distances like seeing the back of your hair, but I would have never bought this in the first place if it was not good for all kinds of tasks. Read more

Other reviews mentioned that the size wasn't as expected. The mirror I received is 11 inches from the top of the mirror to the bottom of handle. The mirror itself is a rectangle, width across is 7 1/2 inches, height is ~5 inches. The handle is about 5 inches.Mine hangs on a hook, in reach to check the back of my hair when I'm blowing it out. I’d been looking for a simple yet “quality” mirror to replace another one I’d had for years to help me finish my hair styling every day. This was advertised as being made by “Goody” which usually is of pretty good quality. The mirror looked pretty decent, not great, and it didn’t give off a warped image so I settled. About a month after using it most everyday, I noticed the mirror was covered with what looked like maybe hairspray residue or condensation. I only use vinegar/water solution to clean all the glass in my home, but regardless of how I apply it, soak it, scrub it and polish with a microfiber cloth, i can’t polish off these tiny black spots that cover it’s mirrored surface. Therefore for my needs, this product is simply junk. The spots won’t come off and appear to be almost rust like and because of that I would not recommend it or purchase another one. Had the spots appeared in time I certainly would have returned it, unfortunately for me, I’d had it for 2 weeks past the return window when I realized the spots were permanent. Read more

I know it's a mirror... But, I've owned many other hand held mirrors in my lifetime, and they are usually able to take a little beating. I dropped this mirror on a rug in the bathroom, and it cracked. Yes...I know.. It's a MIRROR. But, I've had my prior mirror for more years than I can remember, and dropped it more times than I can remember as well...I think the strength of the glass is not what others are made of... When I ordered these, I thought I was buying grey mirrors, but purple ones came in. When I looked back at the description I see "color my vary". I wish I could've picked the color I wanted because grey would've been more professional-looking. I am still using them, just wish they weren't purple. Love this mirror. I just wanted something for my drawer at work so when I walk outside on breaks, I can see what a mess I look like. This is perfect. It is about dessert plate size. I got a purple one. Great price, but does not feel cheap at all. It is nice and sturdy and gives an accurate view (unlike those cheap funhouse looking mirrors we have all found ourselves stuck with. It's got a nice, sturdy, slip-resistant handle, and has a hole at the end for hanging. Highly recommend. Read more
