My hair is very fine and very oily. I need a clarifying shampoo and a light conditioner that doesn't weigh down my hair. I had been using another brand shampoo bar, but I was disappointed with how quickly it dissolves into mush, so I decided to try this one. It says it's for oily hair, so I thought it would be good for my hair. I was wrong. This bar left a waxy residue on my hair that felt like I had put too much product in it. I couldn't run my fingers through it because it was too sticky. It looked OK, but it felt gross. I used it twice without using any other hair products, and I got the same results both times. I was skeptical, as this was my first shampoo bar, but this bar is great. It smells great and works really well! I have thick hair and was pleasantly surprised how well the bar made my hair sudsy. I love this shampoo! I have fine naturally greasy hair. I wanted to be eco friendly with a natural shampoo, but other brands left a film in my hair. You do need to follow the directions and leave it in for a few minutes for success, but it is achievable! I admit I probably use more than is recommended, but I like a lather. I purchased one a few months ago, after some teenage houseguests who thought it was body wash, I decided to buy more. This time I got two instead of one. I am all about the no plastic and hate the idea of adding anything to the landfills. I have been slowly moving toward to waste of little waste. The next step was to try shampoo bars. This is my first one so it is hard to say if its the best. But what I can tell you is it lathers nicely. It smells great and my hair seems to like it. I have oily hair so the lemon one was for me. I really can't tell the difference from the regular shampoo to the bar. But It cam in paper and thin plastic wrap. I would rate this product, perfect. Read more

I loved how this bar was keeping my hair clean longer, unlike my Nexxus. However, it made me lose my hair. I switched back to my Nexxus & there was a 50% difference in hair shedding when I showered. Very disappointing. Read more
Very pleasant scent, approved by my two picky adolescents! I love the earth-friendly packaging and general move away from waste. Not sure how helpful this product is for oily hair yet, but it’s not making anything worse... Overall good, and we will probably order it again when we run out. Read more
I love the small amount of packaging. It also lathers really well. However my hair is also a long time to adjust to the new shampoo. After about 3 or 4 days, I feel like I need a separate shampoo and conditioner. But I’ve been using the same bar for a couple months and plan to buy another when this one runs out. Read more
