I take, well took, this daily for general healthy blood pressure and before my workouts- assuming it worked well, no complaints…I took one Wed 2/23 and it felt like the pill may have been slightly lodged or was slow to go down. I didn’t think anything of it but experienced heartburn a few moments later (I noticed this right away because I have had heartburn maybe twice in my life…). I wasn’t able to workout so I went to bed…I woke up in the morning and noticed I had a hard time swallowing water, food etc. I felt it in my throat and all behind my breast bone-a sharp pain as whatever I swallowed made it’s way down.Friday was so painful, I could only drink a tsp of water at a time. No food.Saturday the pain radiated to the back between my shoulderblades and was so excruciating, I ended up in the hospital. Diagnosis of gastritis and esophagitus.If you Google l-arginine and esophagitus you will find actual studies of this happening to others.
