The Amazon product description says this conditioner contains "B5, aloe, and flax" so you might think that the product contains B5, aloe, and flax. Unfortunately, you'd be wrong. None of these appear in the chemistry set list of ingredients on the back of the bottle. The words "ALOE VERA" appearing in all caps on the front apparently refer to an artificial fragrance ("aloe vera scent") that smells a little like aloe vera, but more like a department store. Or grandma's house.Noted on the back of the bottle..."IMPORTANT: Store at room temperature (70 - 75F)"Why 70-75 degrees? And why is this 5 degree range so IMPORTANT that it has its' own line ABOVE the CAUTIONS? Most people's showers get well over 75 degrees. What do you think happens then? Does the conditioner stop working? Does it mold? Does it smell... worse? Did you see that movie about a blob that swallows old men, little dogs, and teenagers? Could that happen? I microwaved some. Guess what. When heated to over 75 degrees, it gets hot. That's it. And that was the extent of my research.Speaking of lackadaisical research, the CAUTION section of the product label says, quote, "The safety of this product has not been determined."Apparently the claim of "cruelty-free" really means "we're testing it on you." But wait! Isn't that ALSO cruel? Maybe that's why they caution us further:"Discontinue use if rash, redness or itching occurs. Consult your physician if irritation persists."I admit I was put off by their omission of the Oxford comma, but of course that doesn't mean I didn't try the conditioner. And here's the bottom line: if none of the above bothers you and you don't have a fragrance allergy, maybe this conditioner is ok for you. You'll get a big bottle of all the usual chemicals found in all the usual name brands, less some of the irritants and any of the fancy stuff. I can't say my hair felt silky soft or particularly conditioned after using this product, but it seemed to help some with detangling. If you do not want to be exposed to sulfates and/or parabens, this seems like this product will do; though if you're looking for a competent conditioner, not just a creamy detangler, I'd recommend you shop around. The end. When you read a words like "Ginger Lilly Farms" and "Aloe" it's reassuring. Then, when the product says that its "paraben, phospate, sulfate" and heck even! "cruelty" free, you imagine you're getting something great, right? Or at least decent? At the minimum something that does not have crap and actually has, in this case, "aloe" (or whatever version you're looking at). Well, friends, this is NOT that product. It's a Con. Immediate return.Ingredients (on aloe version we purchased): Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG 40 Castor Oil, Stearalkonium Chloride, Glycerine, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol Read more
I purchased this going on the reviews and product descriptions of gently scented and an unscented hair conditioner. It is heavily scented with musk. Some may like it for that reason. I can't handle it and the company has generously allowed me to return it.It is very thick, would moisturize I am sure but the scent was too much.I wish it would have worked out but didn't. It arrived very quickly. Was just put in a box and shipped without any plastic wrap so I am glad it didn't leak. Read more
Purchased 2 gallons. They arrived with the cap off one of the bottles and the box full of the stuff. They were in light weight plastic bags that wouldn't have stopped a fly so with no packaging inside the box and 2 gallon bottles bouncing around what would you expect. I taped the stinking nasty mess of a box closed and shipped it right back. The whole building stinks of this stuff and everyone has a headache. Highly recommend if you want the cheap brothel smell around you. This stuff is slimy and stinks. Read more
Did NOTHING to condition my hair. Although $18 seems like a good deal, if that $18 conditioner does nothing to protect hair, then it's $18 down the drain. Natural or not, it did nothing for my hair. Wasted money. Read more
I purchased this over the Summer in 2020 it’s now Spring of 2021 & I just finished refilling my last Conditioner bottle & still have about half the shampoo left! This was a great purchase I have thick Coarse hair & it’s been great. My hair has grown not really sure if it’s been because of this product because I’ve been using other treatments as well but this was dope. It doesn’t really have any smell so that would have been a plus to have. Read more
Product came damaged! Looks like the seal was broken for a while. I think this might be mold or moldew. They need to check under the hood before shipping 🥴 Read more
I’ve tried a few different products from this company and I must say the conditioners are simply amazing! They leave the hair soft and my scalp feels so well nourished I even tried it on my pets. It did the same for them and the smell is so fresh and clean without being overpowering. Read more
