My 9 week old mini aussiedoodle LOVES his toybox! He tips it over & naps inside amongst his spilled toys. (I hope to someday teach him to put his toys away at bedtime!)But I strongly recommend *not* using the little wooden handles. The toybox arrives with the handles wrapped separately (I threw them away without getting a photo first, I'm sorry!) and you slide them into the loops yourself. I had a feeling my puppy would want to chew them, so I watched to see how he acted. Sure enough, the very first thing he did was get to work dislodging a handle & chewing on it. I immediately removed the handles & feel much more at ease now. It's not a very large toybox, so it's not like they're super necessary for moving or carrying it around anyway.As for durability of the box itself, I cannot make a guess as to how it would hold up against a tougher or larger dog who chews stuff to pieces, but I can tell you that my puppy hasn't managed to do anything destructive to it so far, even when I catch him chewing the corners or the loops. I mean, it works. The handles though, have nothing to really hold them in place so they flop and then fall out. It’s made out of felt, but it stands up well. Just not worth the money in my opinion. I was doing better with the laundry basket. Read more

For the price I bought at 16.99 and the product being for dogs, you’d expect that it’d be dog safe. The wooden handles for the product have to slide in to felt loops and are very easily removed by dogs. I left it with my dog and she began chewing it and there were wood chips everywhere when I came back and I had to remove them. For $17 I didn’t expect to be left with just a felt box with no sturdy flat bottom. Read more

I liked how this looked and it was the right size for the room I had, although my dog has a few more toys than fit, but he always has something he's dragging around anyway - like a kid! He very quickly got the wooden handles out and was using them as a chew toy, I had to take them b/fr he chewed them to nothing, so maybe some kind of handle that doesn't dislodge. He takes all toys out one by one and then hauls it around, wants to play tug with it and shakes it..quite funny. So it might not make the greatest toy box for him, but it's definitely durable as it hasn't ripped yet like others I bought when he was smaller and entertains him. The dogs tip it over like nothing.It works though while they are still puppies.It’s really cute though, fits perfect in the house.The wood parts come out very easily, they aren’t sewed on. All you do is just stuck them in to little holes.Overall a pretty good size for their toys. Read more
