I was prescribed Dibucaine for hemorrhoids almost 30 years ago after the birth of my daughter. It was a lifesaver.This may sound crazy, but if anyone gets any help from this review, it will be appreciated. I have very painful arthritis in my hands. I’ve used lidocaine patches while I sleep (extra medical tape to keep them on and gloves on top of that). No relief. I’ve also used Voltaren cream with Prilocaine, which did help a little.So, knowing that the “caine” family of drugs is numbing, last night I rubbed the Dibucaine on my hands. It’s a little greasy, but my hands are not in a constant ache and my fingers can bend without feeling like they are breaking. I know it’s only a little bit of pain relief, but I truly hate taking meds, and I hope this info can help someone else. Read more
