I started giving these to my son about a month before he got his first tooth. I was worried about a choking hazard, so I watched him closely. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily they dissolve, yet they satisfied his need to chew something without dissolving or breaking too fast. They are low in sugar, but have a nice flavor. Ok this will sound a little surprising but i eat these as an adult! They have lower carbs and sugar than regular cookies and they taste like a cross between vanilla and short bread cookies! They are very tasty! Perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth and keeps me from having tons of carbs and sugars. Also.... as a treat i would give one or two to my 19 year old furbaby who also loved them! So we originally bought these for my 7mo old son when he really started teething. They ended up being way too hard for him and don’t dissolve quickly. So what was I to do with all of these biscuits?! Mommy ate them. Mommy ate them all. Omg they are delicious. They remind me of the Girl Scout trefoil cookies. SO GOOD. And pretty low in calories. I’m thinking about buying more just for myself haha! I came across these cookies at my local grocer and found that my 18mo toddler loves them. Naturally I wanted to buy some in bulk to save a few bucks. Amazon hasn’t done me wrong thus far, so it seemed like a good call. I open a bag up and give my son one. He’s sitting next to me at the table and I’m working on a project. Generally he will reach for me to get him another one once he finishes the first. After a couple minutes he begins throwing a fit while biting at the cookie. He couldn’t bite through them. The box I originally bought were more soft, to the point where I could press firmly on the table and break them. These ones...lord...I have a hard time breaking them at all! The dates on the boxes are all fine, dated for mid next year. However after opening now THREE boxes of these cookies I’ve decided to cancel my subscription for the item. My 12 month old absolutely loves these (I like the flavor too!) She seems to get some relief from teething when she's gnawing on them. My only word of caution to other parents is that these cookies are MESSY. I made the mistake of handing my typically very tidy baby one of these biscuits while she was playing in the living room and WHEW I spent twenty minutes and a bazillion wetwipes cleaning up the goopy cookie paste off of all her toys.
