While the packaging is beautiful and the color (online) looks like a pretty, dusty lavender, this lipstick is more of a dark gray with a slight purple tinge. It's not really matte, it doesn't stay put, and isn't well pigmented. NOT WORTH $20!!!!! But the packaging is really pretty (the gold bullet stands out in my lipstick collection) so I'm keeping it anyway. If it had been marketed more as a semi-matte, semi-sheer, dark gray with a hint of purple lipstick, then I would say that it was spot on for the description. Read more

I love the color! I just wish it lasted longer after it was applied. I put it on once and have to reapply after about an hour, even if I don't eat or drink anything in that time. It's the perfect touch to any look I've had and I'll purchase it again because it is a beautiful color. The London Fog color is a tiny bit darker than pictured (although I am very fair skinned), but I read a lot of reviews and watched some you tube videos first so I knew that going in. That aside...the color is gorgeous, whether by itself or combined with another for effect. It is sort of a gray, violet. I used a hot pink one day and white another for depth and they both looked awesome. The lipstick itself is so creamy and easy to use, it makes me almost like "lipsticks" again. The colour is stunning. I'm not too keen about the formula of this lipstick. It tends to crumble and crack after only a few hours of wear. So retouching a few times during the day is necessary. Would give this a 3/5 mainly because the colour is beautiful and wearable for all skin tones.
