I bought 2 in case we had an oops with the ball that we needed after reading some reviews about how thin they were but I do not have that complaint, or any!! After my fiance hit the ball we picked up a few of the shell pieces and the outer shell is legit 1/4 inch thick!! You can't see through this and they are exceptionally made! We both golf and figured there would be shell debris so we knew to keep our guests off to the sides and everything went perfectly and there was a nice color puff. Sorry that I had to give you a low score, but it almost ruined my gender reveal.The balls move in shipment and did not have anything around them, so one ball had two stickers blue and pink and they could not tell which was which.Thankfully, they picked the correct ball, but if I knew, I would have been so upset.The balls seemed good quality and the hitting part went off perfect. We used one ball for practice and the correctly colored ball for our little event, and they worked great! Do expect to pick up a few little pieces of plastic afterwards, but to get the point across, they worked perfectly. Also do not worry about "sheerness". I ordered one ball of each color and couldn't tell them apart aside from the stickers indicating which is which. Loved the little stickers that came with it. The blue seems more like a deep purple but honestly loved that you cannot see the color through it and of handing this go someone all they have to do is keep one and peel the little sticker dot off of the other. I knocked a start because unfortunate I didn't get to use them as I lost the pregnancy 2 weeks prior to finding out the gender so I didn't get to see if the cloud was big or bright enough. One of the biggest reasons I choose this specific one is because of the Team Boy/Team Girl cards. As advertised they have an area for people to write their names. This is important to me so I can look back and see who guessed what. When I received my package I looked at the cards and they just say team boy/ team girl with no place to write who is on each team. Only reason we give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the Amazon ad and packaging state that gender voting stickers are also included as part of the set. There were no stickers in the box. Used this ball for a gender reveal and the smoke was the wrong color. The ball was labeled a girl and the smoke came out blue. This led to quite a bit of confusion for the very moment it was intended for. While the product worked well with the smoke the mislabeled ball defeats the purpose.Edit: Seller wrote handwritten letter apologizing for the mishap and provided a full refund. This ball most definitely met my expectations of what I envisioned for our gender reveal. It was so much fun! My golf-loving husband gave it a good smack and it was great. He’s keeping the second ball to use as a prank with his friends next time they’re golfing.
