I decided not to go bk to the nail salon due to Covid plus to save money, after 20 plus years in nail salons I am confident I know the steps on putting on nails and applying gel polish. Foremost, the package is not bad nor great its just OK there's no WOW factor. The nail polish is actually like mini size not a reg size bottle, secondly the gel polish is way too thick compared to Essie, Opi, DND and others. The polish is too thick in my opinion it goes on with ridges it's not a smooth application. The UV is 72W and still took about 5 minutes for cure. I tried the ESSIE gel on a finger and cured like salon style perfect took less time. So the issue is not the UV lamp is the gel polish - cheap quality. The polish reminds me of when I was a little girl playing with dolls to give you an idea. Everything in the package is good just the polish that sucks. I trashed the gel polishes, kept everything else and ordered the good polishes like Essie and Opi. Overall, it's OK but definitely recommend to purchase better quality gel polish that will cure in less time with the UV lamp. Read more

I received my kit today and couldn't help but give it a try right away. I can't believe the value of this kit! It includes everything you need for a salon quality manicure (and some extra). It has everything included in this listing down to the stickers and glitter. This was my very first time using gel polish and it was easier than it seemed. The polish applies so smoothly. It's helpful that you can see what color you are using by looking at the bottles instead of a tiny shade indicator sticker. The finished product has a really nice glossy shine to it. I’m in total love with the product and exploring more colors for future purchases. I bought it to do my nails and my mother’s nails and it was hit! My mother has never liked going places to get her pedicure so I gave her a full mani/pedi set and she feels so fancy now. Keeps looking at her hands and even touching her face a lot so people can see the nails lol She even started wearing open toe shoes when socks were still needed lol There is only one thing I didn’t like about the product and it’s the fact that my box didn’t come with instructions on how to use the set, I only received instructions on how to use the UV light. I didn’t know in which order to use all the items that came in the box. I’m a complete newbie at doing my own nails so I went to YouTube and thank goodness there are so many videos!Each bottle has a tiny instruction as to how many second to “cook” it under the light however since I didn’t have instructions I didn’t know the base coat stays sticky after cooking or that you should clean any tiny itty bitty polish excess off the cuticles. I cooked my first set over 2:30 min and started feeling a burn around my nails because the polish in the cuticles was hardening lol it was clear so I couldn’t see it really. So in case you are a newbie too, the top coat will pull it all together so no need to overcook each layer!I bought the neutral set and the colors are really elegant and timeless. I ordered the starter kit on January 31, 2021, and am loving it.  Your polish is great and the kit included everything I needed.  I have also ordered the bright and cute 16 set, and love the colors there as well and I ordered the 6 piece glamorous reds from another site. I wish I could purchase a black polish individually.  I really liked all the accessories that came with the kit.  I did watch a few videos before trying to use the gel polish.  I wish I had switched sooner, I was intimidated at first but am so glad I did it. I have learned a few tricks that have really helped: Do your layers thin, clean your edges with acetone and a nail brush before you set it under the uv lamp. Because the bottle come with numbers and the colors aren't always what they look like its nice to have the swatches, these are colors from all three sets I have purchased. Enjoy Read more

I am so excited to own this product. I wasn’t sure about buying it but my thought was “I get all of this for less than 1 trip to the salon”. I watched a few videos prior to attempting to do my nails for the first time. It took me a little while to make it look right but I believe it will get easier as I get used to it. The colors are cute and versatile. The product has lasted for well over a week. I am looking forward to adding more colors to my collection. I never write reviews, I even gave this product time. Put it on user error but cmon. My nails is already peeling after painting them two hours ago, I even cure each coat until the max time. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m painting my nails more now then I would be going to the salon. The red cuticule pusher isn't my favorite and the base coat was very glumpy. But apart from that, everything else was better than I expected. I used the glossy and the matte top coats and they were very good. So far I used 2 of the colored polishes and both were beautiful colors. Two of the pinks look very much alike. Be aware of that. That lamp is great quality. Cured not just the nail polish but also my poly gel nail extensions. The stickers were fine, too. Gloves do make me feel protected when my hand is curing. Overall, a great beginners kit. All you need in one package! Oh, forgot to mention, my nails have not chipped in three weeks of wearing it. And that's fascinating to me as I'm washing and cleaning and getting my hands into hot water all the time. Read more
