I absolutely love Gellen gel polish. I’ve bought a bunch of the sets and feel like I need need more! I only just got into the whole gel thing initially thinking it was too much. But the better I got at doing my nails and the more time and effort I put into them the more annoying it was for my manicure to start getting scratched and chipped with regular polish. Even after a day there would be scratches and color changes. Not cool. Gel polish is a whole other story. It looks perfect for a long time. It lasts longer than I even want to keep the manicure as I get bored and want to move on after a week and a half or so. Gellen is great quality, there’s no bubbling peeling or other weird happenings. Those that are having issues need to follow the directions. You have to file, buff, and clean your nails. You can’t leave any gel touching your skin. I like to clean up any mistakes with a French manicure brush and acetone. The very first time I did my nails this way with Gellen they came out perfect. Take the time and do it right.All that being said the sapphire emerald kit comes with some really great colors. I thought that one of the colors was black but it’s actually a deep dark maroon or something so that was the only let down. It’s still a pretty color. This brand is amazing. They have no odor, goes on smoothly and is so easy to use. I use the lamp by the same brand. I was hesitant at first based on some of the reviews but decided to risk it. They cured very quick and well. I did color swatches to make it easier for me to choose a color. There is two coats plus a top coat on the swatches. Read more

I can't leave multiple reviews even though I've bought 2 of these sets, different colors so I'm combining them.Sapphire collection:First: the colors are NOT as listed. There are zero green or even greenish colors. There are a few shades of blue, a light grey, and a maroon/red color. Yeah I hate that one, a lot. So these are a crap shoot. At least none are the same.Second: I've been buying white bottles (14 shades now). For some reason not one of the numbers match the list of "all the colors available." Pick "6" pack option.I'm very leary about buying the dark bottles since they do not appear to be the same company.Update: so I messaged the company, the response was that the White bottles are a Japanese formula. I think the black is from China. They sent me a color chart of the white bottles and they all match number wise. I wish I could pick from those.The teal blue (073) is gorgeous. They look great on me.Down side: I can't buy these alone or pick my own colors if I like a certain color. I really love these however, the bottles are so small. Not what I was expecting, but they’re still really beautiful. I just wish the bottles were of normal size. Do you guys remember the Bon-Bon brand of tiny nail polishes from Walmart from the early 2000’s, they’re not as small as those but literally a size up from it lol. I’ll post a life size picture for y’all. So not exactly what I was hoping for but the colors are awesome and they stay on for a long time so I can’t complain about that. To begin, you'll see a similar review for the same brand but other color set.To start, the colors were beautiful! I opened each bottle to examine the colors and was initially pleased.The color goes on thin to the point you need more than 2 coats. With Gel polish I usually only need 2 coats. The problem with more coats than this is that it becomes thick and tends to run easier before you can cure it. It did not end up looking great.I've been giving myself gel manicures at home for well over a year now so I'm familiar with the process.The color definitely lasted for a long time...so long I got tired of it. The removal process was more difficult than I've had using other brands. A portion of my nail even came off while removing...twice!There was great longevity with this product but not much else to be pleased with. Read more

The media could not be loaded.  Beautiful neutrals. The bottles are mini sized which is nice because you can sample the colors without paying for full size. The down side is the brush is super tiny and doesn’t let you apply as evenly as you would hope. Colors are concentrated and look beautiful on. I applied to my natural nail this mani was done last week. My previous mani lasted two weeks 1/2 no chipping or damage. The nail prep is important make sure to file and buff before base coat I applied three layers for a nice thick appearance. Read more

I purchased the kit from Gellen and was extremely pleased, so I wanted to stick with the brand. These colours are beautiful and the quality is excellent. I followed the instructions and only cured the gel for 60 seconds for every coat and it was perfect. Lasts me 1 week without chipping and at the 1-2 week range I’ll see some chips but overall I am very pleased with the quality.I painted the shades on nail sticks myself because it is easier to pick a colour that way. See attached for reference.For all the people saying that the quality is not good, I offer two things to consider:1) you must follow all of the instructions. For example, try not to apply the gel right against your cuticle because it will not form a seal against the nail properly and will chip/ peel faster as your cuticles grow and move. So if your accuracy with the application isn’t great… it might not last as long.2) the gel polish adheres best (lasting results) to a DRY NAIL. There are things you can do to help with this, but straight up, some people just naturally have more oily nails than others. Which would result in chipping/peeling faster no matter what polish you use. Read more

So I do my own gel nails at home and have only ever used CND or Gelish but thought I’d give this brand a try and I’m so happy I did. The quality of the polish is great and the price is even better. I will continue to buy this brand of gel polish. Read more

The product shipped much later than expected, and in addition, unfortunately, the colours are much different than pictured in the description and swatches by the company. There are blue and grey pictured, however, on arrival, I noticed all of the colours are grey. Disappointed as I was looking for a blue. Most likely will be returning due to inaccurate description of the colours. Read more
