Push back cuticles. 3. Remove extra cuticles. 4. File nails' surface.(Important) 5. Clean nails. 6. Apply a thin layer of base coat. (UV cures 60-90s ) 7. Apply first thin layer of color coat. (UV cures 120s) 8. Apply second color coat. (UV cures 120s) 9. Apply top coat.(UVcures 60-90s) How to Remove? 1. Buff off the shine lightly from the top of nails using a nail buffer. 2. This kit comes with everything you'll need to get started. The tools that this kit comes with gets you starting on cleaning your nails and cuticles to prep them for this polish. At first I painted one nail without pushing my cuticles, and the polish was lifting off of my cuticle but not my nail. I do suggest trimming them before applying. Another thing that helps is a little scuff on the nail makes this polish a lot longer. I only had 1 color, the olive green, and then I decided to change it. When it comes to removing the polish, I just soaked a cotton pad with polish remover and laid it on one hand at a time. I left the pad on for less than 10 minutes and by the time I removed the pads, the polish was already starting to lift off of the nail. Didn't have to scrub hard or have to file my nail to remove the remaining polish off of my nails after leaving the pads on them. Beautiful colors to choose from and love that this already came with a lamp. The lamp is really easy to use as all you do is push a button in the back and decide how long to keep the polish underneath. For me, with the first coat, I kept it under the light for 60 seconds and then for my second coat, I kept it under for 90 seconds. After that, I was able to continue on with my day. My daughter and I had a blast with this gel polish kit. We spent an entire Friday night playing around with this kit in our PJ's and trying out different colors. It truly does come with everything you need to create several nice gel color looks in one box. Our favorite two things were the Cuticle Fork and Pusher and the remover pads...those remover pads were quite the surprise as they have a moldable wire in them that allows you to wrap the pad around you finger causing it to stay put on it's own! We want a whole box of those now! If I had to pick a quibble with something it would be the wattage of the lamp and it's rather short cord. It has two setting and neither one seems to be as strong as the other UV nail lamp that we have so it takes a bit longer for the polish to cure but that really just amounts to another 60-120 seconds under the light.It's been a week and our nails still look just as nice as they did the night we painted them. the polish isnt good quality. no matter how many times i cure it or put it under the light it is still wet. i put on thin layers at a time, and it still doesnt dry correctly. and when i do get it to dry correctly the polish lifts with in 24 hours. but the matte polish is nice and the instructions are easy to understand Read more
