I am totally satisfied with my warehouse purchase of the 3 box Gatorade Recovery Protein Bars for $12.00.The expiration says Oct. 9, but, that expiration is only for the one box (Chocolate Caramel) the other two boxes (Chocolate Chip) expire Nov. 13.I like the Caramel Chocolate the best, my two sons like the Chocolate Chip best, so, this set is perfect for us.We hike - our last longest hike was 14.33 miles - and having fuel bars packed for our hikes delivers fuel for us to finish. These bars also are high in protein for muscle repair which is also good as we hike.On some shorter hikes, I have felt like I was under fueled, and could have benefited from these bars.At home, I was concerned the sugar content would be to high for me to burn off with less strenuous activity.I use to eat the Fiber One 90 Chocolate Brownie with my coffee first thing in the morning, then followed by Sugar Free 90 Oatmeal. But, since the Fiber One Brownie recipe has changed, I do not buy them anymore. I tried them; I did not like the new recipe at all.So, I have ate one Gatorade Chocolate Caramel Protein Recovery Bar for breakfast for about the last 7 days. I stay satisfied until lunchish time. I have my coffee, sometimes a latte, and whatever else I choose (fruit, sandwich, egg, tuna, 80 calorie no sugar added Light & Fit yogurt drink, Slimfast 20 Protein Strawberry Shake, etc.)I eat a grilled chicken breast daily ( sometimes early, sometimes for supper, sometimes right before going to bed).I weighed yesterday, and I had lost about 2 pounds in the week since I added eating the Gatorade Protein Recovery Bars for breakfast. I was very pleased, that although the sugar content is high, it did not cause me to gain weight, but, on the contrary, I lost weight.I go to bed with just a slight hunger, and look forward to eating the whole bar when I wake.I am very happy to find these at such a good deal in the warehouse. The shipping box arrived with no damage, and the boxes inside look like they just came off the conveyor line; pristine condition. The bars unwrapped, look perfect.I am very happy with my purchases ( I made 4 separate purchases, 7 boxes total). My son is 15 years old and has a nut allergy - all nuts with almonds and cashews being even worse than peanuts. Finding a protein bar without nuts is nearly impossible. Lots of people like to praise the virtues of other brands like Clif or Kind especially for having less sugar but nearly all of them are also loaded with nuts. My son loves the Gatorade bars but also knows they should be eaten sparingly just like a candy bar. However, on those mornings when he wakes up late and doesn't have time to eat breakfast before catching that 6:30am school bus, these protein bars are substantial enough to get him through to lunch. At 6'3 and 240 pounds, having one bar that is "substantial" to get him from wake up to noon is pretty impressive even if that comes with extra sugar. Read more

These taste great! My 16 y/o, very athletic football player doesn't like most protein bars, but does enjoy these. It does save a little $ buying them here, this way, as opposed to the grocery store, & they're often out of them & don't offer the one with the caramel in any stores I've searched locally. The caramel one (can't remember the actual flavor name) is my favorite. I really like it! That one is my son's least favorite though. He thinks it's too sweet. He tends to like the all chocolate one the best. The downfall, for my nutritional balance, is the amount of carbs in them. I really wish they had a version with much less. Read more

Other reviewer says it uses soy protein and goes into nonsensicle nutrition information that's been debunked for a decade. It uses Soy Lecithin. That's an anti-caking agent that is typically used in amounts less that 1g.Another user complains that it's candy. Y'all know y'all can read ingredients before buying things, right? If you want a bland protein bar, just mix whey powder with some syrup. Or buy Pure Protein bars, they're terrible. tThese taste great and the sugar is good because Gatorade typically makes products for athletes doing intensive workouts. Ever seen strongmen eating Rice Krispy Treats during comp? Yeah, athletes want sugar during training.Stop complaining and enjoy. Read more

Delicious and they have the Macronutrient balance I was looking for. I use them for immediately after hard workouts when I know I'm having a hard time getting enough calories to maintain weight. Not a meal replacement. I wouldn't suggest keeping them around if you are sedentary and can't control yourself. The caramel is especially delicious. Read more

If you've ever had protein bars before then you probably know that some of them aren't very good to taste, or to chew on. Often times they taste like cardboard, and have a weird texture to them that makes them not so pleasant to eat. These protein bars however, are actually pretty tasty and don't have that strange chewy texture that other protein bars do. I recommend them! I take one to work every day for a quick snack.
