I ordered these for my father to try. He has been a type I diabetic for decades and likes to keep some quick carbs on him for unexpected low blood sugars. He was purchasing individual packets of glucose (15 grams) over the counter at the pharmacy, and they were extremely expensive and tasted horrible. Each of these Gatorade packets contain 20 grams of carbs, and he said these taste better than anything he has ever tried and will definitely order these from now on. Read more
These packets saved me. I burn glycogen pretty fast and I can feel fatigue start to set in after about mile 7. But if I eat one of these about 10 minutes later I definitely feel a surge. I have to continue eating one of these about every 2-3 miles. Unfortunately you don't get that many on the marathon course so carrying mine own was a life saver. The flavors have improved and I would say my favorite is pear but truthfully when you need one you don't really care about the flavor as long as you can get them down. I have tried mango, pear and blackberry and they’re all fine. Flavors and texture of these things have improved greatly over the years. And no stomach issues with these. Read more

I was training for my first marathon and had real issues getting enough energy on the longer runs. I used hydration enhancers, salts, and chews. I always seemed to hit a wall when I got near 25k (which, given a marathon is 40k+ isn't so good). I bought these energy gels as the reviews were strong. I'm delighted I did... I took four packs with me on the marathon and used them in addition to eating a banana, raisins, and cashews. I finished in just under four hours and feel some credit is due to these gels. They taste fairly good (unlike Cliff gels I've had in the past) and--most critically--don't cause any stomach upset. The taste is innocuous which is a real plus... Read more
I tried these once at a race and have been forever sold. Both the flavor and consistency are great. The consistency is much runnier than most gels, and it basically feels like a nectar drink. When you're nearing the end of the race, the last thing you want to do on a run is choke on a sticky paste that barely comes out of the package. Plus because it is easy to eat, you can eat more per hour to keep you refueled. It goes down great with water and has everything you need to finish those last few miles. Read more
These are awesome. Not as thick as the GU gels, they actually go down very smoothly. I always try to drink water after I "eat" it, but honestly I don't think you have too. Gatorade really hit a home run with these gels and they have helped me immensely on my 20 milers. They are definitely worth a try, and once you compare the thickness and viscosity to the GU gels, you will be a repeat customer. Read more
These are delicious! and definitely help to improve my long distance running. Normally i start to get tired and not have as much energy right around 5 miles...but if i have 1 or 2 of these at about 4 miles i can go 8 and still feel great! Ive never actually been able to run more since I got these so ive never been able to put to the test how far I can go with one of these every few miles. I always run put of time or have to get to work. But I definitely see an improvement and it really helps with my Energy. If you run i would at least buy these once and test them out...whats the harm right? Read more
I’d previously used GU gels before all of my runs, but this was a Prime Day Deal, so I thought I’d try it. It’s thinner and more watery than GU, which I like because you can take it mid-run without needing to drink tons of water. The flavors aren’t over-powering, which I like, nor are they too sweet. Overall, happy that I tried this. Read more
