I have been using Garnier Fructis blonde hair dye for close to a decade now. I recently tried to use The redken color gels+shades eq and it was ok, but I definitely prefer the tones that garnier gives me! So thank you! In the picture I used #92 the buttery blonde and for reference my natural hair is probably a 4 (medium brown). Hope that helps! Read more
I’ve got dark blonde hair and like my hair to be a lighter blonde. For years, I went to the salon for color but after having the kids, I couldn’t afford to go for time and money reasons. I was super hesitant about using at home color because I’ve had some BAD experiences that made me have to get an emergency, expensive color correction just to be able to go back in public. I researched like crazy to find an at home blonde color and have been using this color, Garnier White Chocolate 111 for years now. So happy I’m able to do my color at home! Read more
Had to do my hair during quarantine my hair is naturally a dark blonde/light brunette color. This was fantastic. I did the strand test first and figured out I need to leave it on much longer than the directions. I watched a lot of you tube videos about 111and 100 that really helped. Would recommend doing that and using your hair dryer to apply heat help it process faster. You’ll be able to watch the color change, if your hair is looking red you must leave it on much longer or apply heat so it processes faster. It should look more neutral colored before washing it out. Love this will be using again! Grateful to be able to do my hair at home in this unique time! Read more
I’m impressed. My natural hair color is dark blonde to light brown and I had about 3 inches of regrowth. I have an infant daughter and wanted to stop dying and go back to my natural color. The bottom was dyed a coppery auburn. I put this all over my head and it blended very well. It’s quite close to my natural color and didn’t damage my hair. The photo was taken in natural light with no filter. You can still see a warmer tone on the bottom due to the red but it’s subtle. Read more
My color was nothing like the picture. It came out very dark brown, almost black. Had to strip it and start over Read more
Color did not take in my hair at all 😢. Granted my hair is a dark but it did not lighten at all. Might work on other hair but didn’t on mine Read more
As a SAHM currently going through a divorce, I needed to find a cheaper alternative for $200+ price tag my salon trips usually netted me. After using this product, specifically the ultra light natural blonde 100 color, I dearly wish I would have tried this sooner and saved me some money. It's very easy to apply and I also recommend searching Youtube for nutrisse color application videos, there are lots of them and some are really good and give a decent idea of what to expect and how to apply, which was a huge visual aid and confidence booster for a newbie like me.The only negative thing I would say is that there was a very slight brassy redness to it, probably due to my own natural highlights and not the color itself, but that was easily remedied by shampooing with John Frieda's purple shampoo, it neutralized the faint brassiness wonderfully. I'm going to run the risk of sounding like a John Frieda representative here, which I'm not, but I also use Frieda's sheer blonde shampoo and conditioner, along with the very occasional use of Frieda's lightening spray to keep the color looking fresh and considerably extend the time before I have to do another color application, in the hopes of making it easier on my hair. All of these products combined are just a fraction of what I used to pay in the salon and I'm just as happy with the results as I was when I had my hair professionally done. Read more
I used this to dye my very expensive real human hair extensions. I've dyed them before and never had an issue, so I KNOW they can handle dye. They were super light blonde to begin with and I wanted to darken them a little to match my "winter hair" (blondes, you know what I mean!) The color (medium blonde #80) turned out almost greyish silver, not at all what I wanted. If I had dyed my own hair with this color, I would've been mortified. Read more
Excellent ash brown colour, quite light for a brown, without any brassy tones at all. However, having also tried the European Nutrisse hair dyes, I noticed that the US version leaves hair quite dry. I wonder why Garnier don't produce this colour in Europe, and why they don't produce the same quality of product in the US. Read more
Worked just as expected with box dye. Darkened my hair that had faded over time and left it soft. For people saying it didn’t colour their hair, this is box dye. You can’t expect salon results from 6 dollar drug store product. If you have dark hair don’t expect your hair to take to any of the colours on the box. If your trying to go from dark to light go to a beauty supply store for colour and toner Read more
I didn't like it at all. It was waste of my money totally. My hair colour didn't even changed a bit and are remaining the same. Why are you people selling sucb items don't understand it didn't cost a 100 Rs5 it wasted my 1300 rupees. Anyone who's snning to buy it d pls don't Read more
My hair is mostly gray and I've used another shade of this same product and it worked really well but left my hair a bit too brassy. Unfortunately, I've tried this product twice in the last two months and both times didn't take at all (plus, it burns quite a bit more than the other shade). Read more
Its a nice not so agressive hair dye, my hair is not dry at all after using it.But the color... That depends on your hair I guess, in my hair it didnt look "extra light" at all, just kind of light brown. My hair is dark brown. Read more
