I didn't have much luck using this on dry hair. It actually made my hair a bit frizzier! Decided to try applying it to damp, freshly washed hair and then blow drying. It made my hair silky, shiny, full and soft! No frizz, no fly-a-ways! Also not the least bit greasy or heavy. Really perfect! The potent and slightly pungent fragrance won't be to everyone's liking, but i enjoy a change from floral notes, and the spicy aroma will be ideal for fall and winter. I am usually far too lazy to remember to write reviews but this one deserves to be written. I bought the Ginger Recovery conditioner and it smells AMAZING. I'd previously bought their Honey Treasure brand and loved the smell but this is even better. I literally did nothing but open the bottle and breathe deep when it was first delivered and now that I have used it, my hair and bathroom smell divine. The ginger and honey smell are exquisite and make me think of Halloween treats with a touch of Christmas spice. Also, it seems to be very conditioning and excellent for my hair so thumbs up (I really love their Whole Blends line), but really I'm just here to rave about the smell. Attention Garnier, I want this scent in everything. I want this scent in soap, body wash, lotions, candles, room spray, body spray, roll on perfume and whatever else you can think of. So, first off, this stuff smells exactly like those scented pinecones that pop up everywhere in December. I love it. It's incredibly strong when you squirt it out of the bottle, but wears off to a slight cinnamon-y scent once your hair's dry (my best friend commented on it the first day I used it). It's also a real bargain for the price in my opinion!As far as everything else, though? It kinda' just leaves my hair flat and limp, and by the next day I'm already greasy again. I've got super fine, flat, oily hair, but with the right shampoos/conditioners I get decent volume and can go about two days between washings without any trouble; I guess this formula isn't for me, which sucks because I can't get over how amazing it smells. :'( Read more

I have curly hair and bought a hair straightener to try and tame my curls over the summer. This product dried out my hair and I had a lot of breakage. I went on line searching for help and this was the product recommended. I used it for the first time today and I used the shampoo, conditioner and the leave in conditionerand my hair is so much softer. I didn't notice any breakage while blow drying my hair. I never noticed it before until someone else mentioned it but this leave in conditioner and the Shampoo/Conditioner really do smell like the scented pine cones that are sold on holidays! I'm super in love with the scent and get many compliments saying that it smells like vanilla. I love how long it lingers as well, usually lasting about a full day after I had applied it. My only complaint with all 3 products is the lack of frizz control/moisturizer to calm and control hair which is a problem for my poofy hair in the humidity. I highly recommend putting about 10 drops of a natural carrier oil such as castor or coconut oils into the Shampoo and Conditioner and shaking it up. That has noticeably helped my hair to control it. I've tried this trick on the leave in but don't recommend it as it left my hair feeling greasy. Read more
