It is a pretty decent spray at a reasonable price the only drawback is that it isn't that extremely glossy over-the-top at all for a product that markets as being basically a hair gloss it doesn't really do that that much if you're really looking for intense Shine. Shine did NOT last but for a very short amount of time then POOF, gone. Also, one of the first ingredients is ALCOHOL and I noticed the alcohol smell upon first use of this product and was alarmed. Not only is alcohol DRYING to whatever you put it on but it is also FLAMMABLE. Glad I only purchased a tiny bottle of this as I wont be using it/will toss into the trash, sadly. This products is a petrochemical nightmare. It smells like kerosene. Made my hair greasy and limp. I had to throw it away and used the spray bottle to mix conditioner with water and used that on my hair instead. Worked much better. Read more

My hair looks dull lately and I saw this shine spray and decided to give it a try. The first time I used it, I sprayed it on my hair and it caused my hair to look oily and be weighed down. I almost didn't use it again but I decided to try to use less and to spray it in my hand and then gently"scrunch" my hair avoiding my scalp. That helped a lot. I also found spraying a brush with a little of the shine spray and brushing through my hair works as well. I only need a little to get some shine. I don't feel like this is the best shine spray out there but it does help and it does work. You just have to be very careful and use just a little especially if you have hair that is easily weighed down. Read more

I've been using this shine spray for easily five years. It's hard to find in my local retail stores (Walmart, Target, Ulta) so I came to Amazon. It adds a nice shine to the hair without weighing it down. I use it after my final light all over hairspray. It beats paying $20-something for a salon brand shine spray! Read more

It can't stretch either, it is a liquid not rubber. Or do they mean whether a little goes a long way? That is certainly true. My hair reaches mid-back, closer towards my waist than my bra, y'know, and if I put one spray on the bottom part of my hair, it will make the whole thing shine. I can't spray it at the top, because this shine spray is so oil heavy that if i wash my hair in the morning, dry it, and then apply one or two spritzes from this little bottle, by the end of the day my hair looks like I sopped up the Exxon Valdez spill with my luxurious locks alone. I do not naturally have oily hair, and can usually push 3-4 days before I have to wash my hair - sans dry shampoo, because that stuff grosses and creeps me out. All that said, this spray is really good for putting on just the ends before using a hair straightener, it keeps the ends from burning or singing so easily. Read more
