I saw other reviews that complained about the packaging and quantity of these and I thought they must be over-reacting. Now I'm one of those people. You open the bottle and it's less than 1/4 full and is only a two-week supply. Why would you do that? Use a smaller package or allow the option of purchasing more in the same package.I used to trust Garden of Life but now they're owned by Darth Vader, i.e., Nestle, which is the antithesis of a healthy or eco-conscious corporation, so I should have known better than to buy anything from them now. I also have been a fan of Dr. Perlmutter, who developed these formulas - but that was before they were bought by nestle.The packaging is totally wasteful and now that I realize I only got a 2-week supply, the price is totally unsustainable. I know from the way other brands price things that they could offer 2-4 x as much in the same package and charge proportionally a lot less because of providing the product basically in bulk. But that's what you can expect from a company like nestle. The packaging and pricing is ridiculous.I just started taking these so I have no idea whether or not they're effective. I will update my review after a month or so. I will give credit where credit is due. But I can't imagine I'll buy these again, in any case. I should have known better than to buy from Darth Vader. I’ve been taking this for exactly 130 days and have had no difference in my skin.I was interested in lactobacillus Johnsonii LA-1 because of the data supporting it can help reduce symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis. I have noticed absolutely no improvement in my condition. I’ve even had to take different/stronger medication.I also have a mild lingering small fungal rash on my torso that has not improved while taking this.I’ve noticed no difference in my skin in general in terms of health, elasticity, moisture retention, wrinkle reduction/prevention, etc.I’ve noticed no other health improvements of any kind: mental health, digestive, vaginal health, etc. Read more
