This product didn't work for me. Doesn't mean it won't work for you. I'm very sleep sensitive. I took it for a week and each night I could not get into a good deep sleep. I stopped taking it and immediately had a better sleep. It definitely did not "turn off my brain" and in fact disturbed my sleep. If anti-anxiety meds work for you, this might work, but for me, anti-anxiety meds tend to give me anxiety so I'm not saying the product isn't worth a try. It's a good company, makes great products.
